As the name suggests, Ar Lan Y Môr (Welsh for 'By The Sea') is ideally located along the beach where you'll find soft sands, stunning scenery and access to the Millennium Coastal Path. This mostly flat coastal path provides the perfect conditions for cyclists, runners and walkers, stretching over 10 miles of breath-taking coastline. A 20-minute bike ride one way will take you to Burry Port Marina, whilst a similar bike ride in the other direction will take you to Llanelli Wetland Centre. There are some wonderful eateries nearby including Cattle & Co (0.2mi) and St Elli's (0.2mi) as well as a great selection of shops at Parc Trostre and Wales' first Nicklaus-designed golf course at the prestigious Machynys Peninsula Golf Club and Premier Spa. Pembrey Country Park is around 20 minutes drive away and offers a huge expanse of unspoilt beach, a dry ski slope, a toboggan run and further opportunities for safe cycling and walking. The beautiful Gower Peninsula and also Carmarthen - the 'Gateway to West Wales', can be reached within 30 minutes by car.
