The village of Ridlington is located just two and a half miles from the coastal village of Happisburgh and just six miles from the village of Mundesley which has a Blue Flag beach hugged by colourful beach huts and a good range of shops, pubs and restaurants. There is an excellent 9-hole golf course and driving range in the village with both horse riding and sea fishing available locally. The Broads National Park is just a short drive away - enjoy river trips at Wroxham, the capital of The Broads, where you can even captain a boat yourself! Venture further afield for the National Trusts’ Felbrigg and Blickling Halls, nature reserve and bird watching at Cley and railway buffs can choose from the steam line from Sheringham to elegant Holt or the small gauge Bure Valley Railway in Aylsham to The Broads National Park.

The cottage was beautiful and well equipped. The walls to the sea front from the house was really pleasant without to much traffic . We are an amazing week there and recommend it to others.

This is a really lovely cottage in a perfect location. Very well equipped, very clean and really comfy beds. The garden was great for our two spaniels, very secure and room to run around. The cottage has a good layout and we particularly liked the seat in the shower which was perfect for my brother who has knee problems. Plenty of cofortable seatinRead moreg to watch TV. We loved the cottage. It was very comfortable and warm. The setting is so peaceful and the garden perfectly enclosed for dogs. It was great to have a dog friendly beach so close. The cottage is beautifully decorated and furnished.

Mill Farm Barn is a beautiful property situated in a most peaceful location, yet only a few minutes from the coast at Walcott. If youre looking for a dog friendly spot in which to decompress, this is the place!

This cottage has so much going for it and lots of potential but is sadly let down by poor cleaning and maintenance, which could be easily rectified. The location is great - only a few minutes from the beach, in easy reach of popular places like Cromer, has a lovely enclosed garden for a dog/kids and plenty of space inside the barn. The beds are comRead morefortable, with crisp white sheets and lovely clean towels are provided. However, the property was very dusty and our dog found crisps under the sofa. The rugs in the bedrooms have stains on them and some kitchen appliances were really greasy. The kitchen needs a few repairs. Some cupboard doors were dangerously falling off every time we opened them and part of the plinth is missing in the kitchen too, as well as a bottle shelf being broken in the fridge door. Meanwhile, the walk-in shower in the family bathroom doesn't drain properly. We had a great time exploring the Norfolk coast and would love to visit again. If the barn owners would fix the cleaning and maintenance issues, this barn would be great but as it is, it feels very uncared for, which is a real shame. The cottage was lovely and suited us as we were walking these Norfolk coastal path. There wasnt a great choice of restaurants in the vicinity but if you were cooking for yourselves the kitchen appeared well equipped. As it was we drove out to surrounding eateries.

We loved staying there in this beautiful and well appointed converted barn. Fitted out with modern up market appliances and kitchen ware. Couldnt be faulted in any way. Comfy beds, excellent bathroom facilities and everything you require and easy to use. Local beaches and eateries close by and a 7 day a week general store also in close reach. There were six of us, three generations, and the cottage was perfect. Two en suite bedrooms and one twin with a bathroom. Very clean and very well equipped. There was a quiet sandy beach with a pub within half a mile along a quiet country lane. The attractions of north Norfolk were all within easy driving distance. We had a power cut one day (Read morenobody's fault) and Sarah in the office was so helpful and friendly. A plumber came and fixed it on rthe same day. We had a wonderful holiday. Hide

What an amazing place, the cottage, the location, the decor - its just beautiful! We had a brilliant time exploring the local area and venturing further afield.
