Wisteria Cottage is a gem of a property located in Penhaven in the pretty village of Parkham. Parkham is a thriving village with a character village inn serving good food just a short stroll away.

The two bedroom cottage has been refurbished to a high standard and has an open plan kitchen, living/dining room with quality fitted kitchen and living room furniture. The first floor consists of two double bedrooms with the master benefiting from an en-suite with both a bath and a shower. There is also an additional shower room on this floor.

Outside there is a lovely fully enclosed garden ideal for enjoying a glass of wine on a warm summers evening. The property also benefits from a newly constructed car port which has space for two cars.

The area offers a variety of places to visit and experience including the popular surfing beach resort of Westward Ho!, RHS Gardens Rosemoor, Dartington Crystal, Hartland Quay and the picturesque coastal village of Clovelly all within a scenic 20 minutes drive.

Sleeps: 4 in 2 bedrooms

Entrance Hall: with storage for coats and boots etc.

Living/dining area: A spacious open plan room with quality leather sofas, Smart TV, DVD player and flame effect fire. A round dining table seating four sits next to the window overlooking the garden.

Kitchen area: Modern kitchen with painted traditional units, integrated fridge/freezer, electric Smeg oven and hob, dishwasher, Tassimo coffee machine, microwave and washing machine.

Stairs to First Floor;

Bedroom 1: King size bedroom with wall mounted bedside lights, built in wardrobe, dressing table and En-suite bathroom with bath with hand held shower and separate shower cubicle, WC and twin handbasins.

Bedroom 2: Kingsize with bedside tables, wardrobe and side table.

Shower room: Walk in shower cubicle with double shower head, heated towel rail, WC and handbasin.

Garden: Fully enclosed with lawn and patio area with table and chairs and charcoal BBQ. Outside  hose for washing off muddy boots or dogs!

Parking: Carport parking for two cars.

Security Deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £ 200 which is payable with the final balance of your holiday and is refunded within five working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.

Power & Heat: Wall mounted electric heaters in all rooms. Electricity included in cost.

Bedding & Linen: Bed linen and towels are provided. (Please bring your own beach towels).

Notes - No Smoking. No Short Breaks. The owner has also provided a beach windbreak, four folding picnic chairs and two loungers together with a picnic set and wheeled cool-box.
A clothes airer and pegs are provided for outdoor laundry drying. CCTV has put installed on the wall of Wisteria and aims directly at the carport and driveway (not the garden) This is for sole use of Wisteria cottage for security reasons.

The cottage is well equipped with a lovely kitchen where you can cook full meals. There is ample crockery and cutlery for entertaining if you wish. The beds and furniture are of wood quality and cleanliness is of a very high standard.

Very well-equipped and clean cottage. Beds were very comfortable, with lovely quality sheets and towels. Perfect for what we wanted. Well-situated for exploring the local area. Excellent pub within easy walking distance. Thank you, we had a marvellous week.

Lovely cottage, really well equipped ( and more so) and very comfortable . Secure garden area meant our dog could go out and stretch his legs and play which he loved . Parkham is quite remote with narrow roads but just a few minutes drive back onto main roads. We would recommend the Bell Inn in the village for food- wide menu, large portions, wellRead more presented and cooked, lovely staff and surroundings. Recommended places to visit Instow, Saunton Sands Braunton, Bude, Padstow , Black Rock Beach , Tamar Lakes and Fremington Quay - all dog friendly . Tarka Cycle trail can be picked up at Bideford as can the Lundy Ferry. We hope to return soon Hide

A lovely cottage with lots of equipment for our use. Garden very safe for dogs. Pub at the end of the road was amazing.

Cottage well equipped. Nice quiet location. Garden secure for dogs. Would need transport for getting to shops. Nice touch with the welcome Chocs. Local Pub very friendly. Good food.

Totally enjoyed our stay at Wisteria Cottage. The cottage was very comfortable and extremely well appointed for a holiday cottage. The village has a good pub serving meals. Access to the village is typical Devon lanes.
