Bramble Lodge is a superb, light and spacious detached property, located in Brada Quarry Park only 1.5 miles outside Bamburgh. Much thought and attention to detail has gone into the styling and modern decor inside Bramble Lodge. Outside, the garden furniture on the decking is sheltered behind the frameless glass balustrade which encloses the area, allowing unobstructed views of Bamburgh Castle. The living area is an open plan but partially separated from the kitchen/diner and the lounge by a partition wall housing the welcoming multi fuel stove. The end of the lounge area has a floor-to-ceiling window to take advantage of the lovely countryside views across the park, while the kitchen window looks directly across to Bamburgh Castle.

Bamburgh is only about 1.5 miles away. Here you will find the spectacular castle, a few gift shops and a long established butcher selling top quality local produce including "The Bamburgh Banger", voted Northumberland's best sausage. We had excellent weather, and with the Lindisfarne National Nature reserve extending to the bay just over a mile away from the Lodge, plenty of opportunities for both birdwatching and beach walks. Firstly I would recommend this lodge it has fantastic views of the castle. It is on a quiet road which is the back road to Budle Bay. It does have other lodges either side of it so not really private if thats what you want. I did ask up front about privacy so was a bit disappointed that it wasnt more private as I was told it was the most private onRead moree, having said that we would return and not be put off by this. I agree with previous reviews regarding having to turn on the boiler to make sure you have hot water etc as this is not anything that you are advised of before check in or even as and when you arrive. It took quite sometime to get through to the office to understand why we had no hot water on the first day. The main en-suite bedroom is only a double bed and so quite small but we are used to at least a king size bed. The other issue we had was a very over flowing refuse bin which clearly had not been emptied for a few rentals after making the office aware they did attend to it the next day. All in all a lovely place to stay but could be even better with just small attention to detail issues which could be avoided. Hide
