Discover another golden beach in the delightful village of Seahouses (7.5 miles) where boats will ferry you to the Farne Islands, an important nature reserve and sanctuary for wildlife including puffins and grey seals. Alnwick (13 miles), the market town famous for its majestic castle and Harry Potter connections, is well worth a visit.
