A wonderful property with excellent views and plenty of space. Exactly as described on the website and in the pictures. Plenty of parking at the front of the property - we parked two SUVs and probably could have fitted another. The path from the road/parking to the house is very steep - no issue for us but I wouldnt recommend for anyone with mobiliRead morety issues. We would definitely return to this property if we visited the area again. Hide

The driveway is incredibly steep. The cottage is lovely, but it is positioned on the main Beach Road, which is very busy in the high season.

The house is beautiful and the view wonderful. It is clean, bright and well appointed. We had not appreciated the steepness of the plot or level of fitness required before actually using it. Some of the fixtures, furnishings, and dcor seem to have been chosen for appearance, rather than utility and practicality: no door to the ensuite bathroom aRead morend the lack of proper banisters to the stairs being prime examples. Excellent location and very convenient for the town and beach. Very comfortable with excellent quality appliances and linen. We found the recommendations for local cafes, pubs and restaurants very helpful and would heartily endorse the Rock Inn. Fantastic views and its well worth the hike but better to let people know as photos dont really capture the situation.. if you think youre smart and decide to take Nespresso capsules be warned, this is a Nespresso Vituo and regular pods are not compatible. A very lovely upside down house on the main route into Woolacombe with sea views and a 10-15 minute walk to the village and beach. It is beautifully furnished with good quality items and the bed we slept in was very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped (including an nespresso machine so bring your pods if thats your thing) and the whole hRead moreouse spotlessly clean. It wasnt a problem for us at all as we were a solo couple, but I mention for other potential users, there is no door on the en-suite bathroom and one side of the stairs has no banister. We would stay again and had a very chilled week. Hide

The property benefitted from outstanding views of coast and hills. The garden was a cool retreat in the heat of the day and attracted lots of bees and butterflies. Amazing views...our children will miss watching the horses in the field opposite. A beautiful house with everything we needed; the garden is not very child friendly, but we spent most days at the beach, so didn't bother us. Location is good; a short walk down to the beach/ town, but bear in mind the walk back up!! We hired a beach chalet to store tRead morehe body boards, buckets and spades etc...came in very useful with two children and meant we could shelter from the sudden downpours!!! We would definitely consider staying at Brae House again. Hide
