Sea Breezes is a modern holiday property situated in the picturesque fishing village of Porthleven on the south Cornish coast. Presented to a good standard throughout and well-equipped for up to six guests, the property benefits from private parking spaces right outside and is within a short walk to the bustling harbour and sandy beach. With sea views out to the Lands End peninsula from all the rear windows and a sun-trap, pretty, enclosed garden, it’s the perfect holiday home for your pet also with stunning coastal walks easily accessible close by. The property benefits from being just a two minute walk from the edge of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Gas central heating and a wood-burning stove in the living area make this a great property for autumn and winter breaks. At night you may also spot the lights of Mousehole, and the lighthouse near Lamorna. On a good night you may also see the lighthouse at Wolf Rock.

Local facilities are all within walking distance but be prepared for a walk back up the hill on your return. Porthleven’s popularity as a holiday destination has increased dramatically due to the fabulous choice of local, independent restaurants, galleries, cafes and local festivals. Try fresh mussels for your supper from The Mussel Shoal by the harbour, browse the wonderful stalls in the Shipyard Market or walk the coast path to Loe Bar and around Loe Pool with a picnic in your backpack for a fabulous day out.

Clean and well equipped cottage. Nice bedrooms. Well furnished rooms. Equipment all works efficiently. Good to have a couple of single rooms. A pleasant walk to town and beach with park and green pace for kids and pets. Nice to have downstairs cloakroom and drying rack in kitchen.

Cottage is in a good location however it is worth noting it is at the top of a steep hill. Porthleven is beautiful with the shingle beach and working harbour. There are lots of small independent shops and some lovely places to eat including the Harbour Inn (the seafood sharing platter was delicious) Porthleven is very dog friendly and this made Read moreour holiday even more enjoyable. Parking at the cottage is great and the garden is lovely. We had great weather and it would be helpful to have a garden parasol and some outdoor seat cushions. Inside the cottage the sofas, could do with updating as unfortunately they are tired and rather uncomfortable. Two of the bedrooms have king sized beds (we slept very well) and there is plenty of storage. Porthleven is a great base for visiting Falmouth, the Lizard Peninsula, St Ives and St Michaels Mount. An excellent well furbished property within easy walking distance to the town. A bonus was to have parking with the property as parking in Porthleven is not always easy to find. My family and I loved the property and only wished we could have made the time to spend longer.
