The property benefits from being just a two minute walk from the edge of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Gas central heating and a wood-burning stove in the living area make this a great property for autumn and winter breaks. At night you may also spot the lights of Mousehole, and the lighthouse near Lamorna. On a good night you may also see the lighthouse at Wolf Rock.
Local facilities are all within walking distance but be prepared for a walk back up the hill on your return. Porthleven’s popularity as a holiday destination has increased dramatically due to the fabulous choice of local, independent restaurants, galleries, cafes and local festivals. Try fresh mussels for your supper from The Mussel Shoal by the harbour, browse the wonderful stalls in the Shipyard Market or walk the coast path to Loe Bar and around Loe Pool with a picnic in your backpack for a fabulous day out.
