Having undergone extensive refurbishment throughout, Avondale is perfectly located for a beach holiday or for exploring the rugged North Cornwall coastline.  This beautiful bungalow is set in the small coastal village of Higher Crackington, just minutes away from the cafe, pub and beach at Crackington Haven and eight miles west of Bude. The bistro cafe and family pub offers delightful locally sourced produce with a great atmosphere. If you fancy a bit of a challenge take a walk to Pencarrow Point and climb the highest cliff in Cornwall, or simply relax on one of the patios and take in the breathtaking scenery. Crackington Haven is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is a perfect spot for families, with a gently sloping beach in an enclosed bay that is great for rock pools when the tide is out. The picturesque Boscastle is just 4 miles away, and the historic remains of the legendary Tintagel Castle is also nearby. With so many of the area's fantastic beaches and beautiful coastal villages close by this is the place for a holiday by the sea whatever the time of year.

A very well equipped and spotlessly clean bungalow. Loads of hot water. Very comfortable beds and sofas. A fully enclosed garden was great for our little dog. Excellent location for exploring north Cornwall/Devon border territory. Coombe Barton Inn and Wainhouse pub both first class.

A beautifully clean and well equipped bungalow. Great attention to detail with furnishings which make it extremely comfortable. Great for the dog with the enclosed garden, which is lovely to sit in on a summers day. Perfectly located to explore North Cornwall. Close to Widemouth bay and Bude. Owner was extremely friendly.

We loved the layout of the bungalow it just kept on giving very clean big sofa for us to sit on together, having the garden was great for the baby & dog to run around good size we would definitely go again

Guidance notes suggested that the heating was automatic and could be turned up, just because it was technically summer theeating had been turned to hot water only so as it was cold some evenings it was uncomfortable and we found out why there was an extra thick blanket in the lounge as you needed it to keep warm. We soon got used to the doggy smellRead mores so that didn't bother us much. The beds were very comfortable. Strange that there are no teacups and saucers. Like others had comment in the visitors book the patio and deck was in a rather grim state but it was at least functional. Hide
