Sandyholme which is wooden clad and spacious inside with an open plan style is ideally located just behind the sand dunes and takes advantage of the location and stunning countryside, it’s ideal for families who like outdoor pursuits.This delightful beach chalet is in an enviable location situated near the sand dunes and golden sands of Croyde beach which is renowned for its surfing, with waves rolling in from the Atlantic. It can be accessed via a sandy path surrounded by fields.

The rocky contours and dramatic headland of Baggy Point, owned by the National Trust, is within walking distance. Or continue along the South West coastal path to Putsborough beach which has panoramic views across Woolacombe Bay, a dramatic expanse of three miles of sandy beach. The pretty village centre of Croyde is easily accessible with its thatched cottages and selection of pubs, restaurants and cafes. Situated in the North Devon Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Croyde is a fabulous beach for all ages to enjoy. Lovely sand, surf school, fabulous waves and brilliant rock pools, the beach appeals to all types, from families, to hardcore surfers. Known as one of the best surfing beaches in England, its a wonderful place to watch the sunset from the dunes, with views to Lundy Island which is a wonderful place for a special day trip.

Open plan kitchen/living room:  A large open plan area with Sofa, chair, Smart TV, dining room table and 4 chairs. Modern kitchen with electric cooker  and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. 

Bedroom 1: Double bed, bedside tables with lamps, hanging cupboard with shelves.

Bedroom 2: 2 x single beds, bedside tables with lamps, hanging cupboard with shelves.

Bathroom: Bath,shower attachment, basin and WC.

Utility room: Washing machine, tumble dryer.

 

GARDEN & PARKING: Fully enclosed garden, with private rear patio  There is private off road parking.

Power and Heat: Electricity and central heating included.

Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided. (Please bring your own beach towels.)

Pets: Maximum 1 dog allowed; £30 per pet

Security deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200, which is payable with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.

The cottage was amazing and location perfect. Sadly there was a major refurb going on next door which started at 7.30m and finished at 9.30pm. It wasnt nice to hear but this is no fault of this propertys.

We had a lovely week in Sandyholme The cottage had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. An excellent location for both the village and the beach Would have liked a bigger garden.

Simply lovely accommodation in a peaceful location but only 5 minutes walk to the beach or Croyde village centre. It really has everything you need for a comfortable holiday. This was my second visit in as many months and it didnt disappoint so Ive also booked myself in for April.

A lovely cottage in an excellent location for Croyde Beach (you can easily walk to the beach) and the local amenities which are a few minutes walk away. We stayed as a family of 4 and this was perfect with everything we could need for our stay. All the facilities are excellent and well presented with comfortable beds. Not sure how the water is heatRead moreed but the bath and showers were always hot regardless of how many people used the water which is usually a problem with a surfing break! There is even an outside hot shower to wash yourself and wetsuit. Hide
