Fall asleep to the sound of waves in this splendid holiday haven, moments from the sea in the charming fishing village of Craster. Sleeping six guests and located on the coastal path, it is perfect for families or friends sharing, with glorious scenic walks from the front door. Craster is set in the Northumberland Coast National Landscape, with vast expanses of golden sand, rugged cliffs and a clutch of magnificent historic castles, all within easy reach. Take a stroll around the village’s picturesque harbour, see its famous, old-established kipper smokehouse and enjoy a seafood lunch at the traditional pub. Walk to the spectacular ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle (1.5 miles) along the rocky headland and the huge, golden sandy beach at Embleton Bay (4 miles), ideal for surfing, kite-flying, picnics and rock-pooling, is a short distance away. Keen golfers can enjoy splendid views from the Dunstanburgh Castle Golf Club.

Enter this welcoming seaside home via six steps up and find a welcoming interior that combines contemporary style with a delightful marine theme. The airy, open-plan living space is flooded with coastal light from the floor-to-ceiling bay window, offering far-reaching sea views. This impressive room houses two large and comfortable sofas before a wood burner, with a telescope for close-ups of local wildlife and visiting dolphins. The dining area has a large table seating six and opens to a sleek, all-white kitchen with all the culinary equipment needed to whip up a tasty meal. A back door opens onto the shared patio and the raised garden. Upstairs, discover a sumptuous family bathroom, complete with a painted roll-top bath, and three inviting bedrooms, all beautifully dressed, with great attention to detail. These comprise a king-size with an en-suite shower and a twin, both with glorious sea views, plus a double overlooking the raised garden to the rear.

Outside, steps from the patio lead to the raised garden, with outdoor furniture and more wonderful views – a perfect spot for dark sky stargazing. There is private parking for two cars.

We had a 5 year old girl with us, and the magnitude and variety of toys, costumes, and books were absolutely perfect for her. The location couldnt be better, and the only thing we didnt enjoy was leaving it behind when it was time to go home.

A beautiful home Perfect location and stunning views of the sea. Inside was spacious with a large and comfortable open plan and extremely well equipped kitchen , two fridges was a great addition. Already planning to return . Thank you
