Recently stayed at High House, what a fabulous choice! Only two bedrooms but the whole cottage is very spacious. Very well equipped, even a cafetire! The only thing missing was tea towels, I know theyre often not provided but wed forgotten ours. Centrally placed in Hawes so great for pubs, cafes and shops. The view from the living room to the back Read moreof the house is beautiful, especially as there were lambs in the field. Top class bed linen and towels, the beds were comfortable and the shower works great. I didnt park in the courtyard as it looked a bit tight and Im not the best driver but there was plenty of parking on the road outside, just a few yards away. All in all, a lovely cottage and we hope to book again some time. Hide

Ideal location for Hawes, space for a small car to park off road, shops in a short walking distance around the corner. Property is large and spacious. We loved everything about High House: spacious living room, extremely well equipped kitchen and nice dining area, very comfortable bed-rooms, good bathroom with shower & bath and plenty of room for hanging wet towels to dry. Bed linen and towels provided, all excellent quality. Shame there is only a narrow balcony at the rear to enjoy the scenery. Read moreThe stone stairs up to the front door, not suitable for some.
