Valpre is located in the pretty village of Manaccan on the picturesque Lizard Peninsula. The area is perfectly located within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and boasts a Grade 1 listed church within the village. Located about a mile from the Helford River on the South West Coast Path, perfect for exploring the beautiful surrounding area or take a drive further afield to the bustling town of Falmouth to wander around the shops and discover the many cafes and restaurants.

Valpre offers guests a light and spacious open plan kitchen, dining area and family room with views to both the front and back garden areas. Relax on the 2 comfortable sofas in front of a log burning fire, or open the door to a garden seating area and sip a glass of wine in the tranquil surroundings.

In the sitting room, you will find another 2 sofas with an open fire and large Smart TV for you to enjoy after a days sightseeing. There is a king-size bed with fitted wardrobes to the Master room, and another two spacious bedrooms; one with a double bed and another with two single beds. All the bedrooms have superb views of the gardens with bedroom 3 having a glass door balcony overlooking gardens and surrounding fields.  There is also a gorgeous double ended roll top bath with claw feet and hand shower as well as an outside hot water shower located in the secluded garden.

GROUND FLOOR

Kitchen/Dining Room/Family Room: Fully fitted kitchen, fridge, freezer, electric oven & hob and dishwasher.  Dining table and chairs.  Two sofas and coffee table with log burner, door to garden seating area.

Sitting Room :  Two sofas, open fire and Smart TV.

Boot Room: Extra WC, washing machine.  Just outside of this room is a shower with hot water.

Master Bedroom:  King Size bed, fitted wardrobes, window overlooking the garden.

Bedroom 2:  Double bed, fitted wardrobe, window overlooking the garden.

Bathroom:  Double ended roll top bath with clawed feet and hand shower.  WC and hand basin, heated towel rail.

FIRST FLOOR

Bedroom 3:  Open plan room running length of the house with two single beds, four windows and glass door opening onto a wooden balcony overlooking the gardens and fields.

Outside:  Enclosed large garden grassed area, trees and shrubs overlooking fields.  Terrace with with seating for up to six people and outdoor hot water shower.

Parking:  Space on private driveway for one car.  Further parking in nearby roads.

Heating:  Oil heating, underfloor heating downstairs.

Notes:  Wifi included. Starter pack of logs supplied (October to end of March). Bed linen and towels are provided, please bring your own beach towels.

Important: The ground floor bedrooms have an emergency escape route via a ground‑floor window. Guests sleeping in those rooms must be able to access and exit through the window without assistance in an emergency. Please ensure this arrangement is suitable for your party before booking.

Fabulous cottage which was a wonderful home for Christmas - thanks for the tree! Underfloor heating and fires glorious in the cold. Bath felt decadent and the outside shower has to be experienced- huge grins after a long winter walk. Everything we needed to enjoy a cozy, restful Christmas. Garden not secure for bigger dogs that can jump hip level fRead moreencing - we kept our dog supervised on a long line so no issue. Blissful location, lovely and quiet. We were really grateful for the fully enclosed garden which even kept our Houdini Jack Russell in! We loved the open plan space and a really well equipped kitchen. It was also really nice to take the dogs for long walks to the estuary without having to drive anywhere. Very nice cottage. Located near to the village pub which we used on several occasions to both have drinks and dine. Parking at the property was a little difficult if you have a large car but we managed. Overall I would recommend staying here.

A fantastic cottage - good layout, large rooms, great garden etc. We loved our short stay and would return again! The property had everything we needed for our stay. This cottage was ideal for us having a disabled grandson as everything was down stairs. Very good location, easy for access to beaches and places if interest. would definitely stay again.

Beautiful week's holiday for our family of 5. Loved the open plan kitchen. Beds very comfortable. Our daughters found the loft room lovely and airy. Manaccan village is very quiet, one pub, no stores and narrow roads a little too busy to be able to safely walk about, especially on dog walks. Helford is so lovely and just a 5 min drive across the waRead morey, so we tended to spend our morning walks there and for evening drinks. Cottage in a good accessible location for all villages. We love Cadgwith and Coverack. Been holidaying in Cornwall for 20 years since our first daughter born, so have lots of photos of our 3 girls at various ages around this gorgeous part of the country. We absolutely loved our holiday, perfect location and a gorgeous property, we really didnt want to leave. It was ideal for a family with (almost) grown up children and a retriever. We would love highly recommend!
