Nestled in the heart of the Suffolk countryside, Campsea Ashe is a great base to explore the local area, with direct access to the coastal cycle path. Just 7.5 miles away, the charming town of Woodbridge boasts a picturesque waterfront, independent shops, and the Tide Mill, one of the last working tide mills in the UK – a must-visit location during your stay. For nature enthusiasts, Rendlesham Forest offers trails for walking and cycling amidst beautiful woodland whilst history buffs can enjoy a visit to the nearby Anglo-Saxon burial site at Sutton Hoo (5.5 miles). The popular coastal town of Aldeburgh is within easy reach, just 10 miles away, where you can enjoy leisurely days on the pebble beach with a picnic and try fresh seafood from the beachside shacks.

Welcome to this deceptively spacious cottage for up to four guests which is the perfect place for a peaceful getaway. Unwind in the large living room, equipped with a Smart TV for your entertainment, comfortable sofas and lovely views across the mature garden. The fully equipped kitchen provides everything you need to prepare and enjoy home-cooked meals which can be enjoyed in the dining room. There is a downstairs shower room with a walk in power shower, WC and washbasin, handy utility room with a washing machine and a tumble dryer as well as a convenient WC. Upstairs hosts the two bedrooms. The main bedroom features a luxurious king-size bed, while the second bedroom offers versatile twin zip-and-link beds which can be made super-king-size on request. Both share the use of the family bathroom with a bath and shower attachment and WC. With ample space and a truly homely interior, this cottage ensures a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Outside offers an enclosed garden that has a dining table and chairs for al fresco meals, loungers for basking in the Suffolk sun and beautiful views across the rest of the mature garden.

This house was perfect for a spring break. The lounge was huge and the beds were very comfortable. The garden was lovely to sit in and lots of birds were spotted. The local pub did very nice meals. We were able to get to Woodbridge by train and the local Katch bus was available for a trip to Snape, perfect if you want to leave the car at home. This cottage is wonderfully comfortable and quiet, and has everything one could need. We found the location really good for reaching the beach and many other sites within just 30 minutes. We couldn't fault it!

A wonderfully comfortable and cosy house. Beautifully furnished. equipped and very spacious. Beds and bedding comfortable and of high quality. We had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Amanda was onsite to welcome us and give us any help we needed. A small problem with the shower was sorted quickly.

The cottage is fabulous. I think a lot of care has been taken over the decor and the comfort of the guests. The kitchen has state of the art appliances and there is a utility room / downstairs cloakroom with washing machine and dryer. The bedrooms have plenty of room and are extremely comfortable . There is very nice garden and plenty of room toRead more sit out in the evening with a glass of wine.The area itself is beautiful and is within easy reach of so many places. The house was very cosy and heated up extremely quickly. All in all it is the nicest holiday cottage I have ever rented . I am hoping that I will be able to revisit next year. Highly recommended accommodation, large rooms and lots of space, very well equipped and good beds, nice kitchen with great equipment (induction cooker / side-by-side refrigerator), very nice and helpful landlady. We really enjoyed the holiday week. Great pup in the surrounding area (very good food), the house was ideal for our day trips to Norwich,Read more Cambridge and various places on the east coast.
