Quidenham is a small, south Norfolk, rural village set in lush countryside and farmland. Peaceful and quiet and a world away from the everyday rush of life, it offers lovely walking and cycling country under the huge skies Norfolk is so famous for. The bustling market town of Diss is 10 minutes away and offers golf, fishing lakes and swimming. The market towns of Attleborough and Wymondham are also close and give a flavour of traditional Norfolk life, provide some great shopping and eating opportunities. Snetterton Race Circuit, just a mile away, is a must visit place for all motor sport enthusiasts. Banham Zoo is home to over 2000 animals from around the world and is only 5 miles to the west. The city of Norwich is a 30-minute drive for culture, cafes, fine dining and retail therapy. The charming town of Bungay on the Norfolk/Suffolk borders is worth a visit with the Earsham Street end of the town showcasing good delicatessens, antique haunts and a great café with a pretty garden to eat out in when the weather allows. The Broads are less than an hour away and make another lovely day out with over 125 miles of waterway networks to explore and if the coast beckons you can be there in an hour – the beaches on the east coast are sandy, spectacular and often underpopulated even in the summer.
