Puffin Lodge is a beautifully renovated bungalow situated in an elevated position overlooking Swanage Bay. This lovely property is all on one level, and benefits from a large gravel driveway with parking for four cars including an Electric vehicle charging point. Puffin Lodge is modern and well equipped with large open plan living, kitchen and dining room with doors opening out to a westerly enclosed garden. 

The two bedrooms are spacious and well furnished, alongside a newly fitted family bathroom and separate handy cloakroom with W.C. Guests are welcome to use the private garage to store paddle boards, kayaks and mountain bikes too! 

Puffin Lodge is a comfortable holiday home for friends and family to make their home during their stay. Spend your holiday enjoying all that Swanage has to offer with a beautiful sandy beach, rock pools by the Victorian pier and plenty of places to enjoy a local ice cream after a day at the beach! The high street is varied and vibrant and has many places to eat and drink - from cafes, pubs and restaurants to the traditional seaside fare of fish and chips. If you wish to venture further afield you can hop on the steam train which runs from April and September to the historic ruin and town of Corfe Castle.

Living Area: Comfortable three seater sofa with footstool, two arm chairs. Smart TV, DVD player & radio.
Kitchen Area: Rangemaster oven with gas hob.  Washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave. Breakfast bar with three stools, extendable dining table with seating for up to six. French doors.

Bedroom 1: 1 x king size bed, 1 x single bed.  Plenty of storage, wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Bedroom 2:  1 x king size bed. Storage, TV & DVD player.

Bathroom:  Shower cubicle, WC, wash basin, LED heated lit mirror, heated towel rail.

Cloakroom:  WC with hand wash basin.

Outside:  Enclosed garden to rear of property with decking area, shed with garden furniture Further seating and patio area at the front of the property, with table and chairs. Garage has storage for bikes & boards and an Electric Vehicle charging point.

Parking:  For up to four cars on private gravelled driveway.

Heating:  Gas Central Heating.

Notes:  Wifi included.  Bed linen & towels provided (please bring your own beach towels).

Pets:  Sorry no pets allowed.

A lovely second stay at this property. Centrally located, but in a nice quiet location and with stunning views over Swanage Bay from the front of the property.

The location of the cottage may present some challenges for less able people given the steepness of the road the property is one.

Had a great week at Puffin Lodge, from the moment we arrived we felt at home, was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Lovely welcome gift of treats from the owners, contact with them via text message to check we had everything we needed was appreciated. Location great for access to Swanage town and beaches and also for Durlston country park. TRead morehe hill could be a challenge for anyone less mobile but we appreciated it for our daily work out! We have been coming on holiday to Swanage for years and we couldn't really fault this property and we would definitely stay here again .If you do not know Swanage the only downside to this property is its location which is at the top of a steep hill , it doesn't bother me but my wife cannot manage the climb so I would park the car near the front evRead moreery morning and drive back up . We are just back from 2 weeks at Puffin Lidge and had an amazing time. The accommodation was exactly as described, with a lovely garden and plenty of off road parking. Swanage itself is a great place for a holiday with lots to do. It is a steep walk back up the hill, but helps work off a few holiday calories. Weve just returned from a fabulous week at Puffin Lodge. The property has been very tastefully refurbished to a very high spec. Much thought has been given to whats needed for a very comfortable stay. The welcome basket and milk were much appreciated after a long journey. Swanage is a fantastic base to explore Dorset. We visited Lyme Regis, CorfRead moree Castle, Weymouth and of course the stunning Durdle Door. Theres also much to explore in Swanage itself. Great communication from the owners. Faboulous cottage, very comfortable with a great garden and good parking. Really good communication with the owners. Short walk downhill into town, looking at the views.

Excellent. Great location - quiet but walking distance to town centre (though note the paths and roads are steep if you're less steady on your feet). Bungalow was clean and really well stocked. Lovely, well kept garden. Friendly and helpful hosts.

Very convenient lodge on the hillside of Swanage. Clean and groomed rooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Nice garden and a good parking spot. Nearby Durlston Castle and Park with a beautiful sea view. We'll never want to go away, but the holidays has ended. Highly recommended.

Puffin Lodge is a fantastic property in Swanage,a great base to visit the attractions all over Dorset! The lodge is lovely inside, clean,bright,cosy and modern and equipped with everything we needed,a real home from home. I would highly recommend this property ,it was a bonus the driveway was big too so no worries of where to park! CommunicatiRead moreon from the owners while we were away was appreciated too,so if we had any problems we knew they were just a text away! (We didn't though!) Our family had a great time at Puffin Lodge which is located in a very quiet area and well sunny. Everything is very clean and well equipped. There were also various maps available to explore the area. The beds were very comfortable. We also appreciated the welcome gift and the good communication.

Puffin Lodge is a modern, very well furnished single storey holiday property. It is furnished and equipped to a very high standard. Wonderful shower. Everything was extremely clean Suntrap patio with table and chairs. Overall very comfortable, but you would have to quite fit to tackle that hill to the Town on foot.
