Puffin Lodge is a beautifully renovated bungalow situated in an elevated position overlooking Swanage Bay. This lovely property is all on one level, and benefits from a large gravel driveway with parking for four cars including an Electric vehicle charging point. Puffin Lodge is modern and well equipped with large open plan living, kitchen and dining room with doors opening out to a westerly enclosed garden. 

The two bedrooms are spacious and well furnished, alongside a newly fitted family bathroom and separate handy cloakroom with W.C. Guests are welcome to use the private garage to store paddle boards, kayaks and mountain bikes too! 

Puffin Lodge is a comfortable holiday home for friends and family to make their home during their stay. Spend your holiday enjoying all that Swanage has to offer with a beautiful sandy beach, rock pools by the Victorian pier and plenty of places to enjoy a local ice cream after a day at the beach! The high street is varied and vibrant and has many places to eat and drink - from cafes, pubs and restaurants to the traditional seaside fare of fish and chips. If you wish to venture further afield you can hop on the steam train which runs from April and September to the historic ruin and town of Corfe Castle.

Living Area: Comfortable three seater sofa with footstool, two arm chairs. Smart TV, DVD player & radio.
Kitchen Area: Rangemaster oven with gas hob.  Washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave. Breakfast bar with three stools, extendable dining table with seating for up to six. French doors.

Bedroom 1: 1 x king size bed, 1 x single bed.  Plenty of storage, wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Bedroom 2:  1 x king size bed. Storage, TV & DVD player.

Bathroom:  Shower cubicle, WC, wash basin, LED heated lit mirror, heated towel rail.

Cloakroom:  WC with hand wash basin.

Outside:  Enclosed garden to rear of property with decking area, shed with garden furniture Further seating and patio area at the front of the property, with table and chairs. Garage has storage for bikes & boards and an Electric Vehicle charging point.

Parking:  For up to four cars on private gravelled driveway.

Heating:  Gas Central Heating.

Notes:  Wifi included. Hairdryer included  Bed linen & towels provided (please bring your own beach towels). 2 week stay includes mid stay linen changeover arrangement.

This is a very comfortable and spacious bungalow in a quiet area. We had a great week in it. It was spotlessly clean and not at all lacking in equipment. The box of goodies was most welcome - thank you Bob. It is situated in a steep part of the town, but we discovered that if you are able to walk down into the town it's possible to get a taxi (Read morefrom the train station) back to the house for only about 3.00/3.50 (cheaper than parking in the town)! We rented Puffin lodge as a base whilst moving home. What a fabulous place, well appointed, clean, modern and just a lovely space to be in. Perfect for someone with limited mobility too, of which there are limited places in Swanage. The owners were fabulous at communicating, very welcoming and exceptionally helpful in accommodating our specific Read morerequirements. Great place to stay. Lovely property with everything that you need. Good location for visiting the area and plenty of parking in Swanage if you dont want to walk the hills! Lovely messages from owners to ensure everything was ok with our stay and good communication before our arrival.

Enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage. Had everything we needed and was in excellent condition. The garden was great too, with a clean deck and clean furniture. Walk into Swanage downhill but we found an easier route via the coastal path. You can walk from the property to Durlston and beyond too. so definitely on the right side of town for us.

A very clean , well appointed bungalow with a spacious garden and lots of room for parking, the electric charging point was much appreciated. Feel it should be noted on the website info that the property is at the top of 3 very steep hills that makes it virtually impossible to walk back from the town/beach unless you are incredibly fit!

Puffin Lodge is a lovely bungalow with all the equipment you could need for a great holiday. The garden is great with table/chairs/umbrella on the decking. Lots of parking space.

A lovely second stay at this property. Centrally located, but in a nice quiet location and with stunning views over Swanage Bay from the front of the property.

The location of the cottage may present some challenges for less able people given the steepness of the road the property is one.

Had a great week at Puffin Lodge, from the moment we arrived we felt at home, was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Lovely welcome gift of treats from the owners, contact with them via text message to check we had everything we needed was appreciated. Location great for access to Swanage town and beaches and also for Durlston country park. TRead morehe hill could be a challenge for anyone less mobile but we appreciated it for our daily work out! We have been coming on holiday to Swanage for years and we couldn't really fault this property and we would definitely stay here again .If you do not know Swanage the only downside to this property is its location which is at the top of a steep hill , it doesn't bother me but my wife cannot manage the climb so I would park the car near the front evRead moreery morning and drive back up . We are just back from 2 weeks at Puffin Lidge and had an amazing time. The accommodation was exactly as described, with a lovely garden and plenty of off road parking. Swanage itself is a great place for a holiday with lots to do. It is a steep walk back up the hill, but helps work off a few holiday calories.
