Ger y Porth is a private farmhouse situated deep in the heart of the beautiful Welsh countryside with direct access to the Llyn Coastal Path leading to places like Porth Towyn beach and Porth Ysgaden. The renovated rustic cottage has endless views across the fields towards the hills of Garn Fadryn, Tre'r Ceiri and Yr Eifl as the sun sets across the Irish Sea. This 3-bedroom house has been lovingly-restored to perfectly blend traditional and contemporary features; from the sleek, newly-fitted kitchen and bathrooms to the comforting wood burner and original stone fireplace. With flexible sleeping options, open plan living areas and a spacious lawn with firepit, this farmhouse is the ideal escape for friends and family looking to discover the beauty of the Llyn Peninsula.

Take a walk along the Llyn Coastal Path, leading from the farmhouse, and discover the beautiful remote beach of Porth Towyn, sheltered by its crescent shape and grassy cliffs with unique sand that 'squeaks' as you walk. Tudweiliog village is within a 20-minute stroll and host to a lovely family pub and local shop. Slightly further afield are the hidden gems of both Nefyn (5.7 mi) and Morfa Nefyn (4.8 mi). The beaches here boast clear waters, distant views of The Rival Mountains and a variety of conditions that make them perfect for watersports. Between these two villages are a range of pubs, convenience stores and eateries. You can also take the coastal trail past the famous Nefyn & District Golf Club to the secluded Porthdinllaen beach and picturesque Ty Coch Inn nestled in the headland.

If you are looking for a relaxing holiday this is an ideal location. Easy access to the coastal path , 1 mile walk up the lane to the pub which is dog and child friendly and does great pub grub. Our family have just enjoyed a great week in this warm and comfy holiday house, situated 5 mins walk from the coastal path with scenic walks either way, more headland walks from Aberdaron and Abersoch and lovely beaches all round. Our first time in this area, sure we'll be back, thank you. Wright Family

The location was fantastic and cleanliness and equipment could not be faulted. The demise of the fridge freezer 2 days into our week was dealt with absolutely as well as possible. Full marks to the owner here. See above for improvement suggestions.

A beautiful, spacious cottage in a quiet location, with excellent access to the coast. Our children loved playing in the gardens. There are some beautiful beaches and even a seal colony in short walking distance.

The cottage is great, very well situated for access to the coastal path and nearby beaches. The seal colony to the north is a must! There was lots of useful information and suggestions provided by the owner. The only niggle was the very high temperatures the bedrooms were heated to, which was hard to override for any length of time - seems wrong to complain about being too hot in winter, but it did affect our sleep quality a bit as the duvets were very warm too! We stayed in December - would also be a great summer location to really take advantage of the coast. Hide

A simple, idealistic cottage set on a beautiful coastline. Quick access to the beach and coastal walks were fantastic. Nice local pub and not far from shops. We had a lovely weeks holiday. There were some remedial maintenance works required but hopefully they would have been addressed quickly. We would stay again.
