The Barn at Well Cottage is set in the heart of the Cornish Countryside, just 5 miles from the coast and boasts a lovely lawned garden for children and pets to explore. The property is a good sized family home sleeping 8. There is a convenient ground floor Kingsize room and shower room, which may suit members of the family that would rather not use the stairs. The living area is open plan with plenty of doors and windows, allowing the light to flood in. A patio door leads out to the large garden with partly fenced pond (care to be taken with young children). The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher and large american style fridge/freezer. Stairs lead up to the first floor with three double bedrooms and a seperate shower room with walk in shower. This rural retreat set in the small hamlet of Broad Langdon has been a popular holiday home for some time. Crackington Haven beach is only 5 miles away, and being close the the A39, the property is in a great location for exploring the great sights and beautiful coastline that Cornwall has to offer.

GROUND FLOOR:

Open plan living/dining room: Comfy corner sofa, Smart TV, dining table seating 6. Patio door to paved seating area.
Kitchen: Electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and large fridge/freezer.
Bedroom 1: King-size with wardrobe. Restricted head height. 
Shower room: Walk in shower with WC and hand basin.

FIRST FLOOR:
Bedroom 2: King-size bedroom with lovely solid oak bed and beamed ceiling, bedside tables, dressing table and picture window with views over the garden. Patio doors to balcony with steps which lead down to the garden. Restricted head height.
Bedroom 3: King-size zip & link bed which can be made into a twin on request, bedside tables and large picture windows with view over the garden
Bedroom 4: Twin zip & link bed which can be made into a king-size bed on request
Shower room: Walk in shower with heated towel rail, Velux window, WC and hand basin

GARDEN & PARKING: Parking for 2-3 cars. Patio area with fire pit and outdoor seating. Lawned garden with partly fenced pond (care must be taken with young children).

Changeover Day: Friday - arrival 4:00pm - departure 09:00am.
Pets Welcome: Maximum 2 pets; Pets must not be left at the property alone or be let out at night and must be supervised.
Power and Heat: Electricity and oil included in rent
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided (please bring your own beach towels).
Baby Equipment: Highchair and Travel cot provided.
Shop: 2.5 ml Pub: 2.5 ml

Photos made it look bigger than it was. Beds for 8 (4 doubles) but comfortable seating only for 4/6 plus wooden bench not comfy. However it suited our needs due to the downstairs bedroom and bathroom. Nicely decorated and nice garden. Good location for Bude area.

The cottage was really lovely. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of space for all of us, both in the cottage and in the garden. It was a pity the weather didn't allow us to take advantage of the lovely outdoor space but never mind. Maybe we will get chance on another occasion. Cottage location was excellent as a base. We were travelling as a family of 5 with a small dog. Chose this accommodation as identified secure outside area so our dog could be let out but unfortunately this was not the case so had to keep our dog on a lead in garden which was disappointing. Also would be good for fence around pond for safety. CottRead moreage could be so much more if more attention to detail. Update summer house and seating, put seats on balcony and just a really good deep clean and replacement of plates/cups and general equipment. Luckily we brought our own toilet rolls as only provided 1 in each toilet and brought own essential such as washing up liquid etc as very little provided. Owner was very responsive to our queries as the tv upstairs was not working and was promptly replaced within a couple of days. Live TV not available which would be useful for this to be advertised. Spacious accommodation, perfectly situated for the beaches, Bude and exploring beautiful Cornwall. Plenty of parking, we brought 3 large cars and all fitted in. There is a large garden area which is great for playing games and also for the dogs. The bedrooms are spacious with comfy beds and it is lovely and quiet at night. Despite the awful British summer this year we were warm and cosy in the Big Barn. Very comfortable beds, lots of hot water, excellent smart TV with everything we needed (you'll need to log on with your own subscriptions to things like Netflix, Amazon Prime, BBC etc), good equipment such as the induction hob and dishwasher. Showers excellent and gooRead mored storage in each bedroom. Owners were so helpful and friendly. Location was very convenient but in a quiet hamlet. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Hide
