Sitting in the centre of the popular coastal town of Southwold, close by to the bustling high street, 6 North Green is a beautiful holiday home for six guests looking for their next seaside escape.

Built in the 1970’s, this generous home has been given a wonderful, modern make over to create a chic and stylish coastal abode. Bright pops of vibrant colour, sumptuous fabrics and fabulous feature walls, all work harmoniously together to bring the wow factor!

Offering ample social space across the property, this is a perfect home to bring all your favourite people together. Whether that’s all around the dining table, eating delicious suppers sourced from the local independent shops, chilling in the snug with a good book or watching a movie in the sitting room. The large mature garden extends the social space of the house with an outside seating area, perfect breakfasts in the rising sun.

Upstairs, each set of guests have their own private oasis, with a choice of three beautiful bedrooms. The main bedroom, with an ensuite, has a gorgeous superking bed with a scalloped edge headboard contrasting, yet complimenting the feature wallpaper behind. The twin bedroom is equally stunning, with the option to create a superking bed to accommodate a variety of guests. And finally, the double bedroom to the rear of the property, overlooking the garden, is a cute and cosy room with bright, colourful, and chic décor.

Southwold Central - The properties located in central Southwold are all within minutes of the marketplace, with the elegant Swan Hotel, an excellent range of small shops including greengrocers with fresh local produce, family butcher and delicatessen. The upper promenade is ideal for a peaceful stroll at any time of the year and provides quick access to the beach and of course, the lighthouse in the town is a good landmark. There is also easy access to the common and a nearby footpath takes you down to the harbour with the foot ferry to Walberswick (Summer only). Don't forget that the beach is never very far away!

This cottage is so well placed we parked and did not get the car back out until we left. It is so well equipped there was nothing we needed that we did not find. The beds are like clouds and a lot of room nothing felt like it was in the way. The two reception rooms are great as it allowed quiet time while the others watched the TV in the eveningRead mores. Garden is not secure I had the scariest 10 minutes of my life when my medium sized dog got in the next doors back garden and the ran out the front of the property. The cottage its self was lovely and a great size and I would have booked again if the back garden was secure.

A second stay in this comfortable house. Great beds and furnishings. Well laid out kitchen with lots of space and access to the patio and garden. Parking up in the driveway and walking everywhere is our favourite aspect, no need to drive at all! A real home from home

This was a great property in a great location with the high street close by and having a pleasant feel with plenty of independent shops, great cafes/bakeries pubs and restaurants. The beach is a gentle stroll away and our two dogs absolutely loved running on the beach, just be aware they are not allowed on the main beach from April to September. ThRead moree house was great, with some quirky but fun colour schemes, and the fixtures and fittings were of high quality and very comfortable. The property really suited our multi generational family group and the large garden is a bonus as were the large TVs and the integrated entertainment system. Would recommend to others and would definitely go back again if we return to the beautiful town of Southwold. There are just a few rough edges appearing since the property was redeveloped but with a little TLC these can be in the main quickly rectified. Hide

Very roomy, comfortable and stylish house in a great location. Having parking and a large garden was a bonus. It was an excellent house for a family get together. We will definitely be back.

We stayed here in July 2024 with our two dogs. Overall it is a lovely property in a fab location in Southwold, walking distance to high street, beach and nearby villages. You can tell money has been spent on the decor. However, the garden needs a lot of TLC - we were disappointed upon arrival. Also it is not secure, although there is some fencingRead more provided to close the gap from garden to driveway. The property could have been cleaner, there were a lot of cobwebs around the windows which had been there awhile. Plus the rug that was in the lounge was very dirty and smelt so we had to remove it and mop the floor. We experienced a leak in one of the bedroom ceilings following heavy rain. The property could do with some maintenance and a good clean. The driveway is not very wide and to get to the property is down a side lane which is tight, so if you have a large vehicle you could experience difficulties. The cottage had a lovely garden and off street parking, which is rare in Southwold. The decoration and contents are very good, the only downside was the cleanliness , especially the kitchen and fittings .

Ideally situated for both shops and beach. Very spacious property with lovely big dining table. Two sitting rooms, both with large screen TVs is a definite bonus. Property, whilst decorated in a modern style, is starting to look dated. Carpets and upholstery would benefit from a deep clean.

Our second stay at 6 North Green which is set back from the road by the Green and on the doorstep of Southwold High Street and sea front, ideally placed to stroll into town or drive out to explore the neighbouring coastal villages and beaches. Plenty to see and do, wonderful walks along the coastline and stunning sunsets. The house is beautifullyRead more furnished and although not particularly large, it gives a wonderful feeling of space, even with six adults and a dog. The garden is extensive and laid to lawn with remnants of grander times, and not overlooked. Parking is tight but can accommodate three cars off road. Overall very happy however could be improved. For example garden advertised as enclosed but no gate so dog could get out onto road. Duvets were far too heavy for the season. Garden was unkempt. Lots of cracks in windows and one wooden window frame was badly damaged. Generally felt that maintenance was not kept up

A perfect holiday home in a great location. Well furnished with very comfortable sofas and beds. A spacious home with a secure garden and easy to walk to all local shops and attractions. We really appreciated the quality of everything provided to make our stay feel like our home.

Excellent location and decor. Good quality furnishings and equipment. Comfy beds and spacious property. It lacked an information file, an iron and details of bin days etc. BBQ in garage unusable as clearly not cleaned previously. Open fire in living room would have been lethal if we had used it due to a pillow being stuffed up the flue! No welcome Read morepack! A good effort with many pluses but fell a bit short on details compared with others. Suggest a visitor book. Hide
