Devon Cottage is a charming cottage tucked away in a corner of the village of Gunnerside in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. It is a delightful cottage with a cosy and homely feel to it, providing comfortable accommodation for couples or a family. With its two spacious bedrooms overlooking the south facing garden and hills, lovers of the countryside will find this a perfect location for walking and cycling. A family bath with overhead shower completes the first floor.

Downstairs, you will find a well-equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook up a meal or sit and chat around the centre island whilst planning your next day of exploring what this wonderful area has to offer.

If you prefer, why not cosy up in front of the multi fuel burning stove in the living room, enjoying your favourite read or watching the TV.

Outside the property, you will find the large, beautiful south facing walled garden, where you can sit and enjoy the summer sunshine and relax in the peace and tranquillity.

Bedroom 2: Two single wood framed beds, with matching drawers, a single wardrobe and a chest of drawers complete this room.

Bathroom: Bath with overhead shower, washbasin, toilet, shaver point and heated towel rail.

Pets: Not accepted at this property.

Parking: One space next to house, further parking on street in the village.

Garden: Walled south facing with gate.

Heating: Heated by the multifuel stove with additional background heating from electric wall panel heaters.

Short Breaks: Accepted all year round.

Notes: Unlimited WiFi available free of charge. Mobile phone signal poor, however, can use wifi enabled calling. Please note that the electrical supply to this property cannot handle the charging of electric cars. Lovely cottage in beautiful quiet village, near the Kings Head pub which serves good food and beer. Unfortunately, as noted by previous guests, there was a large campervan parked alongside the front room window which blocked our view over the countryside.

The cottage is lovely - perfect location, pretty garden, very well equipped kitchen and super-comfortable beds. We will be back!
