Everything was beautifully clean and comfortable and the equipment (crockery etc) was as good as new. As the weather was not very kind, we were very glad of the efficient central heating too!

Brilliant welcome pack. Cottage very well placed for walking and birdwatching along the coast. Very handy too for walking into Southwold for a bite to eat and pick up supplies from the many shops.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in this delightfully appointed cottage. A 15 minute walk to the promenade, or the high street, (we're old, so if you are young, 10 minutes!) makes it an ideal location. We were greeted by a very generous welcome pack which set the tone for our visit. The sky was blue, the sun shone, all in all, a very happy stayRead more. Hide

A lovely property in a quiet residential area of Southwold. The house was the perfect size for a couple, very clean and brightly decorated and felt very welcoming. It was really cold in Southwold when we arrived but the heating was on and the place warm. The parking space was a bonus as the road was narrow outside. The kitchen was very well equippeRead mored and all the appliances had their manuals provided - so easy to use. The bed was comfy, even though it was only a double and the toilet was a bonus as the bathroom was downstairs. A short walk either to the beach or pier and into town. So easy we popped home for lunch one of the days having picked up food from the artisan shops. We would consider staying here again if we came back to Southwold Hide

The cottage is well equipped, and is warm and cosy. It is very close to the centre of Southwold, and is only a short walk to the pubs and restaurants. The fact that it has its own parking space makes it ideal.

Lovely stay in Southwold. House was very comfortable and clean and a short walk from the pubs and shops. The driveway parking was very useful (as was the EV charging). Appreciated the welcome hamper.

The location required a short walk to the centre, very close to the brewery. The cottage was compact, enough space for two people. Not sure how it would be for two adults and two children though. Having the small seating area was lovely.

Perfect location with only a short walk to all the pubs, restaurants and beach front. No.2 is truly a home from home with all the comforts, plus more, to make any stay memorable. The kitchen had everything you need to cook up a family meal and the lounge was warm and cosy and a wonderful room to relax in while listening to some music (via the BluetRead moreooth speaker). The bedrooms were spacious and the bed was very comfortable.. a great nights sleep. This remains one of, if not the best cottage we have rented and youll be missing a treat if you choose elsewhere. Also the owners and their family have a long history in Southwold and are proud to own and share their house in a beautiful part of Suffolk. One final comment - Adnams beer and Gin are a delight as well as the food at Coasters. The pizzas at the The Lord Nelson must not be missed Hide
