No 2 has off street parking within a private driveway (a much sought after feature in Southwold) as well as a quiet, sunny, secluded courtyard garden, complete with comfortable garden furniture. Sitting Room: A comfortable room with two sofas and a table and lamp to each one. Electric woodburner-effect fire adds to comfort along with a coffee table and bookshelf. White venetian blinds with high quality curtains are provided as well as a 32 inch television, DVD and Bluetooth speaker.
Kitchen/Dining Area: Electric oven and gas hob, fridge freezer, microwave, Bosch slimline dishwasher, washing machine, DAB and Bluetooth Radio, table and four chairs and the back door leads to the courtyard with garden furniture.
Bathroom: Fully tiled walls with bath, over-bath shower, washbasin and wc. Large heated towel rail along with storage for toiletries.

FIRST FLOOR
Bedroom 1: Double bed, wicker chair and ample storage for personal belongings. En-Suite Cloakroom with washbasin and wc, heated towel rail.
Bedroom 2: Twin beds, wicker chair and storage space.

Southwold Central - The properties located in central Southwold are all within minutes of the market place, with the elegant Swan Hotel, an excellent range of small shops including a greengrocers with fresh local produce, family butcher and delicatessen. The upper promenade is ideal for a peaceful stroll at any time of the year and provides quick access to the beach and of course, the lighthouse in the town is a good landmark. There is also easy access to the common and a nearby footpath takes you down to the harbour with the foot ferry to Walberswick (summer only). Don't forget that the beach is never very far away!

Perfect location with only a short walk to all the pubs, restaurants and beach front. No.2 is truly a home from home with all the comforts, plus more, to make any stay memorable. The kitchen had everything you need to cook up a family meal and the lounge was warm and cosy and a wonderful room to relax in while listening to some music (via the BluetRead moreooth speaker). The bedrooms were spacious and the bed was very comfortable.. a great nights sleep. This remains one of, if not the best cottage we have rented and youll be missing a treat if you choose elsewhere. Also the owners and their family have a long history in Southwold and are proud to own and share their house in a beautiful part of Suffolk. One final comment - Adnams beer and Gin are a delight as well as the food at Coasters. The pizzas at the The Lord Nelson must not be missed Hide

Lovely cottage in the heart of Southwold. Very well equipped kitchen, beds comfortable. The relaxing lounge was appreciated after a day walking the many routes around the area.

Cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. From a personal point of view I found the bedding too warm, maybe a summer weight duvet could be used at this time of year. The owners were very understanding when one of our guests managed to lose the front door key. They very quickly sent s a replacement key.

No.2 is in a great location just 5 minutes walk to the seafront and High Street. Its a quiet road and the off street parking is a big bonus as Southwold can get very busy at peak times. The property was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Wed happily stay there again.

The property was in excellent condition and matched the photos on the website. It was very well equipped and ideally situated. The town and beach were a short walk away, it was also convenient for cycling - a lovely route to Walberswick and beyond could be accessed within a matter of minutes and, when we wished to go further afield, it was easyRead more to do so by car. Having the dedicated parking spot was much appreciated and we were able to lock our bikes in the back courtyard. Hide

Overall, the property was good. Two issues spoilt the exceptional property. Firstly, the tv just didnt work. Insufficient signal to produce a picture at all. Only iPlayer available as an app, so all other channels unavailable. Also no remote for chromecast so couldnt use that either. Other issue was with water temperature in the shower which was LuRead moreke warm at the highest setting. Also heating only worked spasmodically! Hide
