The property has been designed and furnished beautifully to provide space, comfort and touches of luxury throughout. The kitchen is perfect for entertaining and equipped with everything needed to whip up some culinary delights. When you fancy putting your feet up for the evening then why not nip down to the high street in just a few minutes to pick up some renowned Aldeburgh Fish ’n’ chips.

Aldeburgh and the surrounding area has inspired many authors and poets in the past but the most famous son of the town is Benjamin Britten, who founded the Aldeburgh Music Festival, which now has worldwide acclaim and is held every year in June at Snape Maltings. Fishermen still pull their colourful boats up on the shingle beach and sell fresh fish from the picturesque huts. The wide, mainly Georgian high street has many attractive buildings whilst the seafront properties all have commanding views of the beach and the North Sea. Boating is popular on the nearby Alde estuary where a large variety of yachts can be seen at summer weekends. Aldeburgh is also home to one of the oldest golf clubs in Suffolk and has the added benefit of two courses which is perfect for visitors of the local area.

The accommodation was spacious, comfortable, well-furnished and clean - ideal for a group of friends to enjoy social time together. It was also well-located near the High Street and beach of Aldbrough. The noise from the building work next door (behind the house) was a bit intrusive, however.

Perfect holiday home. The location is brilliant for exploring the area far and wide. The rooms were spacious and the whole extended family enjoyed our stay in both properties. The kitchens have everything you would need. The garden space was fantastic and on a summers evening I can imagine it is a great addition.
