Alternatively, 2 bedrooms (1 King and 1 Double) can be chosen downstairs should the ground floor be preferred.

Outside there is a generous, private garden to enjoy, great for alfresco dining in the sun appreciating the surrounding field views. The dog-friendly beach at Winterton is just one mile away with vast stretches of sand, backed by dunes and visited by a number of seals. The Norfolk Broads is within easy driving distance making this a great location to enjoy river trips, canoeing, kayaking and nature trails, too. Enjoy this cottage year-round and don’t forget your furry friend.

East Somerton is a small Norfolk village and home to the ivy-clad, ancient ruin of St Mary’s church, tucked away and hidden in a wooded grove and best visited as part of the signposted circular walk from nearby Winterton-on-Sea. The village is just a mile from the sandy beaches and dunes of Winterton. Winterton Dunes Nature Reserve is a must for discovering the local wildlife. Horsey is just two miles to the north and is home to a local seal colony; visit over the winter and you will see seal pups too. Inland, The Broads National Park with 125 miles of waterways to discover is within easy reach offering boat hire and other water-based activities. The hinterland in this part of Norfolk also makes great cycling country. Culture vultures will enjoy a trip to Norwich, which is also within easy reach.
