Mundesley is a well-served and active village and an excellent location for a seaside holiday. Mundesley has an award-winning Blue Flag beach hugged by colourful beach huts and a good range of shops, pubs and restaurants. There is an excellent 9-hole golf course and driving range in the village with both horse riding and sea fishing available locally. The Broads National Park is just a short drive away - enjoy river trips at Wroxham, the capital of The Broads, where you can even captain a boat yourself! Venture further afield for the National Trusts’ Felbrigg and Blickling Halls, nature reserve and bird watching at Cley and railway buffs can choose from the steam line from Sheringham to elegant Holt or the small gauge Bure Valley Railway in Aylsham to The Broads National Park. The picturesque Georgian town of Holt is about 12 miles away and has excellent shopping facilities.
