St. Agnes is an imposing three storey residence, situated in the most prominent position overlooking the harbour, which provides some of the best views in Ilfracombe. Within walking distance of the vibrant coastal resort, the town has great amenities including picturesque harbour, a wonderful selection of restaurants, bars, cinema, shops and galleries all of which are within a short walk. The spectacular coastline close by offers great scenic walks along the coastal path, pretty coves and daily boat trips for fishing or sightseeing.

The harbour has a sandy cove which is ideal for small children. Seafood can be bought straight from the fishing boats which land their catches below the house, crabs and lobster being a speciality. Get a birds-eye view of the lifeboat launching as it goes regularly on training runs. This summer a baby seal has been basking regularly on Cove beach so watch out!

Steps lead up to the front of the property with a large sun terrace, overlooking the harbour, ideal for relaxing with a drink and watching the sun go down. The property has been recently refurbished to a high standard with a lot of thought and personal touches, including coordinated furnishings, quality fixtures and fittings and each room has its own name inspired by the landmarks that can be seen from the house. All front facing windows, and all bedrooms, have panoramic views across the harbour, and out over the Bristol Channel.

Parking: Weekly parking permits can be bought via the Ringo App for Cove Car Park, Marine Drive, Larkstone or Ropery Road car parks.

Security Deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £400, which is payable to Marsdens Devon Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at St Agnes. Beautiful house with luxury touches in a great location. The host was extremely helpful on the first day, checking to make sure all was okay. The highlight was the sea views from all bedrooms, we all had a very relaxing stay.

A lovely position overlooking the working harbour. Good comfortable bed and fluffy towers. Catering equipment for 10 requires juggling. Plenty of space for 10.

A brilliant house! Very comfortable indeed - so well equipped and the beds are really comfy. The location is fantastic and its the best place that we have stayed in Ilfracombe. We had to contact the owner while we were there and he was really responsive. All in all - a superb choice!

We had a really lovely time at St Agnes. The location is perfect and the house is great. The house is set up really nicely and was a very comfortable place to stay. A better stocked kitchen and a couple of refurbished bathrooms would take it up to a really luxury standard. St Agnes was a lovely property with amazing views. Spacious and easily accommodated a group of 8 friends. Location perfect with short walk to harbour with a choice of cafes and restaurants/pubs.

The property was lovely, very clean, had a great view. Unfortunately we couldnt use the BBQ as there was mould on it. Also, it would be good to cut back the nettles etc leading up to the decking at the back. We were also surprised to have to pay 15 a day for parking as this isnt made clear on the website. The property would also benefit from more mRead moreugs as we constantly ran out between the 9 of us. Hide
