Little Close is a traditional Lakeland stone building that has been extensively refurbished to produce a fantastic property, with many modern touches complimented by the original features. Sleeping 6 people in 3 bedrooms, the house is ideally located between Windermere and Bowness, with an array of restaurants and shops only a few minutes walk away. The house has the added bonus of a private car parking space, so you will have no trouble parking your car.

Downstairs, there is the fully equipped kitchen/diner with everything you could possibly need for your stay, the dining table seats 6 in comfort, and you have the outside seating area directly off the Kitchen with 2 doors opening to create a wonderful space. The lounge area has a sweeping comfortable sofa, facing the idyllic Wood burner, a perfect spot to plan the next day's activity or relax in front of the TV with BT TV including BT sports included.

Upstairs there are 3 spacious bedrooms, each presently decorated with neutral tones, creating light and airy rooms. There is a super king-size room, a king-size with recently refurbished ensuite shower, and a twin room with Tv and Xbox with game pass, ideal for the younger members of your party. Also on this floor is the recently refurbished family bathroom with bath and overhead shower,

Outside you have an enclosed patio area just off the kitchen with a table and chairs.

One of the nicest properties we have stayed in. Immaculately clean, warm, comfortable and in a great location for pubs, restaurants etc. The furnishings, bedding etc were all of really good quality. The kitchen was very well equipped with ample plates, glasses, mugs and cooking equipment. The small outside terrace, which was secure for the dog, wouRead moreld be a pleasant place to sit in the sunshine, unfortunately we didnt see any sun! This is our third visit to Little Close and it never disappoints. Beautifully decorated, with lots of nice touches. Private parking space and close proximity to shops and restaurants. Im sure well be back!

Lovely cottage, prime location only 6 minutes walk to the lake. Beautiful walk 5 minutes in the other direction with outstanding views. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely stunning place to stay, spacious and lovely presented. Location is amazing for Bowness and is a very short walk to all bars and restaurants as well as the lake front. Would highly reccomend and we will definitely stay here again.

Lovely little cottage, very well presented, clean and warm. Kitchen well equipped with everything necessary and lots of cutlery and crockery. Comfy lounge with plenty of space to spread out and watch a good film after being out and about all day. Beds all very comfortable and everyone slept well. Nice big bath, which we didn't use, and two showers,Read more which were easy to use and had good pressure - watch though as water runs very hot. Around 5mins walk to main street leading to lots of different shops and restaurants and about 10mins to the lake. Have not been to this part of the UK for many years and very much enjoyed our short break to The Lakes. Hide

Really brilliant family cottage. Cozy and welcoming with lovely decor in a great location. A well equipped kitchen and Comfy beds this cottage was a warm place to return after a day exploring the fells. Would definitely return in a different season.

We had a lovely 2 week stay at the cottage. Very cosy and welcoming, the wood burner was a real plus during the colder nights. Great bonus of dedicated parking, while the property is minutes walk of Bowness, which was brilliant for us as we normally stay in more rural properties.

A great holiday cottage in a good location. The cottage was spotlessly clean when we arrived and was very comfortable to stay in. It was very well equipped and the location was great for the lake, walking and water sports.

Little Close is the best holiday cottage we have stayed in in the UK. The location is great - quiet but within walking distance of the shops, cafes bar etc. The house itself is tastefully decorated throughout and homely. We loved the kitchen opening onto the patio for summer. The cottage was well equipped. The owners have thought of every little dRead moreetail and comfort.
