This beautifully appointed bolthole appeals to all ages in a prominent position within the town and has a private parking space! Having been lovingly renovated and stylishly decorated whilst retaining plenty of cottage charm. This getaway is also suitable for your four-legged friend to enjoy this stay with you – they will love exploring the abundance of dog-friendly beaches along the North Norfolk coastline. Holt is a popular town on the North Norfolk map. Seek out its Georgian charm and character, art and antique galleries, fashion boutiques, food shops offering the best of local produce, café's, pubs and restaurants. The Green Flag awarded Holt Country Park has over 100 acres of woodland to discover and Holt is also home to the North Norfolk Steam Railway, where you can pick up the Poppy Line and enjoy a train ride to Weybourne and Sheringham on a diesel or steam train. Just a short drive to the stunning North Norfolk coast, where you can discover bird watching, nature reserves, enchanting coastal and inland villages, Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, sailing, seal watching and vast sandy beaches. The coastal villages of Blakeney for seal trips and Cley for bird watching are just five miles away. A little further along the coast road is the current home of the Earl of Leicester, Holkham Hall, which hosts numerous events throughout the year. Colourful beach huts decorate the vast sands at Wells-next-the Sea and Holkham beach is the chosen beach of the ‘Household Cavalry’ who can be seen galloping along whilst taking a well-earned break in the summer.

This is a great little cottage in an excellent location for Holt and north Norfolk. Very well equipped and clean and tidy. Very well updated and modern with everything you need for two. Nice little patio and the parking is very valuable in Holt. Recommended.

This is a lovely cottage. Well equipped and everything worked. Good location - we had several car free days out using the local heritage railway. End of terrace with nearby parking is handy, and the courtyard is a good space to relax.

It's the 7th cottage we have stayed in at North Norfolk and it's the best by a mile. Everything you could want for a pleasant comfortable stay it provides. And the location in Holt is perfect. Looking forward to staying there again in September and will all being well will be back twice again next year.

Port 1 was a lovely cosy, comfy, cottage in the heart of the town with the added bonus of a car parking space. The cottage is compact but ideal for 2 guests and has all the facilities you require be it for 2 nights or 7 nights., an ideal base to explore Holt and all the other lovely North Norfolk Towns and Villages.

The cottage is in an excellent position and was a lovely place to stay. Unfortunately the heating wasnt on when we arrived on a December day and the house was freezing. If I stayed there again I would check with Norfolk Cottages that the heating would be on when we arrived.
