This lodge was in a great location, lovely views and very quiet. The only sounds we could hear were bird songs. It was very well equipped and spacious.

Overall a lovely cottage, but a lot of issues need addressing. The outside doesnt look welcoming it needs a good clean, locks arent good you have to force them. The windows need a good clean. More outside lighting. A very bad smell of sewerage. On the inside it looks great but a deeper look shows old cobwebs, dust under the middle sofa and down tRead morehe side of the table by the tv. The coffee machine had mold in it from the filter not being cleaned. We did take a picture. Thats not acceptable. Luckily I took my own . The property is only being surface cleaned as we left it as we found it. Thats not fair on the owners if they are paying cleaners. Positives theres a great amount of utensils, glasses, cups, plates everything you need. We enjoyed our holiday but Im not sure we would return in the future. Response from holidaycottages.co.uk: Thank you for your review. We can confirm that we will discuss this with the owner. Hide

We enjoyed a wonderful week at this lovely property - with stunning views and you can get a glimpse of the sea in the distance. The lodge had everything we needed and more with comfortable beds and sofas. Having two fridges in the kitchen was a real bonus. Beautifully furnished and a really well equipped kitchen. A lovely lodge, clean spacious and very comfortable. Great location, the driveway needs a upgrade especially for the winter months as a person who is not a confident driver would feel uncomfortable when they turn into the actual driveway to the property. It's just the first little bit. I loved the views and as a woman by herself I felt safe. The Read morerestaurant at the Manor was lovely and staff great, also Dovecote beauty treatments is definitely a must. Everything is on your doorstep. I would come back in a heartbeat. Hide
