With a clifftop promenade and gardens, an award-winning Blue Flag beach hugged by colourful beach huts, crazy golf and one of the smallest maritime museums in the UK, Mundesley is a truly delightful coastal village. When the tide is out the shallow waters and long, sandy beach make this a play haven for young and old alike. Mundesley’s Gold Park offers outdoor gym, multi-use games area, skate park and play area. There are plenty of pit stops for coffee and cake, fish and chips, good local shops for everyday needs and The Ship Inn has an increasingly growing reputation. There is an excellent 9-hole golf course and driving range in the village with both horse riding and sea fishing available locally. The Broads National Park is just a short drive away - enjoy river trips at Wroxham, the capital of The Broads, where you can even captain a boat yourself! Venture further afield for playbarns, Amazona Zoo at Cromer, the National Trusts’ Felbrigg and Blickling estates, nature reserve and bird watching at Cley and railway buffs can choose from the steam line from Sheringham to elegant Holt or the small gauge Bure Valley Railway to The Broads National Park. The picturesque Georgian town of Holt is about 12 miles away and has excellent shopping facilities. There is plenty to do here and a visit to the east of the county will not disappoint.

Everton House was an excellent base for visiting North Norfolk attractions for young and young at heart. Beautiful garden and very well appointed property. We would certainly consider a return visit.

Everton House is a gorgeous 5 bedroom house in Mundesley, Norfolk. We stayed there, 3 generations, 9 of us in total, for a family 3 night break. The house is lovely, clean, cosy and well equipped, it catered for all our needs. There was plenty of space for our three grandchildren (5, 3 and 2) to run around and play, and lovely cosy sofas for the aRead moredults. It was even decorated for the Christmas season. There was a well thought out information folder, and our host Denise even left wine and a tub of chocolates for us. Mundesley itself, and the beach, was great, and we also managed a trip into Cromer. We even managed a runaround in the very large garden. I am sure, in warmer months, the decking area with seating and bbq, would be well used. We also loved the Aga once we read the instructions and got used to it. I would recommend Everton House. Hide

Wonderful house in a great location. Plenty of room for three generations of our family from toddlers to grandparents. The only problem we encountered was that the Aga was very hot and we had to improvise barriers to prevent the children getting too close.

Wonderful house for a holiday. Everything was perfect. Loads of room, lovely garden and a very comfortable place to stay. Even learned how to cook on an Aga range. My partner is disabled so had the ground floor bedroom and bathroom and it was excellent. Steps out to the garden were a bit difficult but we managed.

Fortunately with foul weather inflicted upon us Everton House was a welcome refuge with the AGA keeping the chills at bay and as a drying point. It is a "home" with many qualities and certainly no downsides. It exudes quality at all levels. Beds are very comfortable. Household equipment is first class. Wifi is strong across the property. Ours in the downstairs ensuite was simply perfect and reports from the family members upstairs were similarly impressive. It is a perfect place for a family group. We were 8 over three generations from 8 to 79 yo. Highly recommended. Hide

Extremely impressed with our stay at this property. We had 3 generations staying to celebrate a 60th birthday, including a baby, 2 year and 3 year old, the house was very accommodating for the little ones. The house was extremely clean and everything you could ever want was provided. The garden was large and fully enclosed so we felt happy lettiRead moreng the children out on their own to play.
