Rydal Cottage is an attractive chalet bungalow, situated just a short, flat walk from Swanage town and beach. The chalet bungalow benefits from a driveway with private parking, along with a choice of two light and airy sitting rooms as well as a sunny enclosed garden. 

Bedrooms:  1) First floor double bedroom, overlooking the garden with fitted cupboards and TV.  2)  First floor twin bedroom, overlooking the garden with fitted cupboards.

Bathrooms:  1) Ground floor shower room with walk in shower, w.c. and basin with electric towel rail.  2) First floor bathroom with bath, w.c. and basin.

Kitchen:  Fully fitted kitchen with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer.

Main Lounge:  2 Sofas with electric fire, lovely artwork, double doors onto rear patio, TV & DVD.

Second Lounge:  Sofa and lounge chair, TV, artwork, double doors into conservatory.

Conservatory:  Dining area with glass dining table and chairs for up to 4.  Double doors to rear patio area.

Wifi:  Included

Fuel:  Gas central heating 

Garden: Lawn and paved areas front and back.  Gravel patio area to side of the house, extensive borders.  3 sets of tables and chairs, 2 lounging chairs and 2 director style chairs.

Overall the property was excellent. It is set in a quiet location, while also being conveniently close to the centre of town. It was very clean and tidy with an extremely pleasant, south-facing rear garden. The two bedrooms are a decent size with plenty of storage and the two lounges were also extremely comfortable. Had a wonderful stay at the very spacious, clean, well appointed and comfortable cottage. Very peaceful, lovely to hear the church bells. A very show walk to the sea front, heritage railway and supermarket. A great location to explore the area. Very pleased with our stay at Rydal Cottage. Highly recommended.

Wow,! Wow,! Wow !. What can I say. A beautiful , comfortable cottage with all access to all amenities virtually on the doorstep. We have stayed in many cottages over the years and Rydal Cottage is right up there in our top 3. We will definitely be back.

We have been to the property 3 times now and it is truly worth every penny for the comfort, location and house layout. The garden and sitting areas mean you can go out then come back and relax, eat outside etc. The conservatory is great for breakfast and meals. The property is well maintained, the outside had been painted so looked fresh and the inRead moreside is kept tidy. The picnic chairs in the shed are really useful for the beach. Overall we always try to book the cottage for all the reasons noted and have always enjoyed our stays there, summer and autumn/spring too. Hide

This is a lovely holiday home.We have stayed in Swanage many times over the years and this is one of the best properties.It is in perfect location for all Swanage has to offer.The house was lovely and clean.The garden is a bonus well kept and lovely to sit in.We would stay there again.

Rydal Cottage is perfectly situated near the shops and the seafront and a short walk into the town. The Cottage is light and airy with all amenities. Well stocked and very clean. A lovely garden and parking space at the front. One of the best accommodations we have had. This was our 4th visit and we have re booked for next year. Excellent property with all home comforts & equipment provided. The furniture & beds were very comfortable, & the towels & linen were very good quality. Decoration & art work made the property feel very homely. The rear garden & conservatory are lovely & get plenty of sun, although this does mean the conservatory can get rather warm. Very good Read moreproperty information & books & games are available, & the owners notes/reminders around the property were helpful. The front step access could be a slight problem for anyone unsteady on their feet, & access to & from the drive could be tricky for larger vehicles if other people ignored the double yellow lines. It's easy walking to the station, large Co-op, beach & lower high street with plenty of cafe's, pubs & restaurants. Hide

A really great cottage, perfect location for the town, beach, buses and train. Rydal cottage is good as you have the choice of 2 lounges, the conservatory and the garden, which we used a lot. The parking means less hassle and you can go and come as you please. CooP so nearby is useful. Chilled Red restaurant food is very good as a special treat ouRead moret. All the cafes, pubs and restaurants are generally good. Great pasties from Cornish Bakery! Buses to Bournemouth and nearby villages e.g. Langton Matravers are very easy. Taking the steam train to Corfe is not necessarily cheap but is a special way to travel. Hide

I don't think we have ever stayed in a better property than this. Everything you could possibly need was there. the property is well furnished and is bright and cheerful throughout. Comprehensive details are included in a welcome pack and every eventuality has been covered. Apart from being a superb property its location is an added bonus. The towRead moren, beach, bus station, steam train and supermarket are within a few minutes walk which proved very useful. This is a property which I would gladly recommend to anyone. Hide

This is our third visit to Rydal Cottage Swanage. The accommodation is the best we have stayed. Beautifully decorated and maintained.
