Farr Cottage is a pet friendly one bedroom holiday home located in the picturesque seaside town of St. Ives. With outstanding sea views from the lounge/dining/kitchen area, bedroom and garden, there is plenty of opportunity to sit and gaze!

On the ground floor you will find a light and welcoming lounge/kitchen/dining area with access to the pretty enclosed courtyard garden.  The kitchen is beautifully equipped with electric oven & hob, fridge and toaster; and why not wile away the hours in the lounge/dining area where you can enjoy time together, watching TV or having a romantic dinner for two. St. Ives Leisure Centre is located within three minute walk from Farr Cottage, it offers a wide range of leisure activities and fitness facilities including swimming pools and gym. Farr Cottage is ideally positioned to be within easy access of restaurants, shops, galleries and a great choice of sandy beaches. Within few minutes walk to the South West Coast path and Porthminster beach, you will have the perfect base to explore the extensive countryside or watch the sunset on the beach.

Lounge/Kitchen/Dining:  Large luxury sofa, footstool, smart TV and gas log-burner-effect fire. Quaint cottage kitchen, with electric oven & hob, fridge with ice box and toaster. Bay window with window seat and sea views. Dining area with dining table and four chairs.

Split level steps leading to lobby (with access to rear garden).

Shower room: Shower cubicle, WC, hand basin and washing machine.

FIRST FLOOR

Bedroom 1: Double bed, two bedside tables with lamps, chest of drawers, in built wardrobe and hand basin. Bay window with sea views.

Parking and Garden: Private parking space (4.7m x 2.1m), marked with number 4, in Trenwith Square to the side of the property. Courtyard garden to rear with seating, hot and cold shower and wall mounted washing line. Walled front garden with extensive sea and harbour views. 

Pets Welcome: Maximum 1; £25 per week. Information about bringing your pet.
Power and Heat: Heat and electricity included.
Bedding and Linen: Linen and towels provided.
Baby Equipment: Not provided.

Nice location close to St Ives but if you have any walking problems this won't be for you. The cottage is smaller than it appears online and the stairs are very steep. If you have a car, the parking is tiny and an average size car won't fit.

This was our second stay at Farr Cottage which didn't disappoint. We love the cottage - it is cosy, and most importantly very close to the town!

This is a lovely little cottage, ideal for 2 people and overlooks the harbour. The cottage provided us with everything we needed. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a washing machine if needed. The back courtyard is private and a nice place to sit on an evening. The town and harbour is about 10 minute walk down a steep hill, but there is a bRead moreus that runs from the leisure centre which is about 100m from the front door. The buses leave and return every 10 minutes or so, so its easy for the less mobile to get to the harbour and beach. We had a few issues with parking as the space does not allow room for a larger car and I believe the cottage description has been amended to reflect this. We bought a weekly ticket for the leisure centre car park instead. Parking in st Ives is difficult unless your're there very early, so I would recommend using the bus as opposed to trying to drive through the extremely busy town. Overall we had a fab holiday, using Farr cottage as a base. Hide

Very small property on top of a very steep hill. Not for the faint hearted. Property has everything you need. However the interior was really small and dated. It was clean. The outside spaces were unkempt. In need of weeding and flower pots were more weeds than flowers. Outside furniture had a broken chair. The outside area was the reason we choose this property. It was not good enough and therefore let down the overall standard of the acommodation.

Lovely property, what more could you want - short walk into the town/beaches, parking, small garden and dog friendly. Walk back up the hill might be difficult for some, but there are buses every 10 mins maximum, to and from the leisure centre. We'll definitely be booking for next time

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Farr Cottage. The cottage itself is cosy and charming and in an excellent location. It has everything required for a short stay - from utensils to scrabble! the cottage was lovely and clean and has it's own parking space. It wasn't cold enough for us to use the fire, so we will definitely be back to visitRead more again! Hide
