Just a short stroll from the front door and you’re at the beach, take dip in the sea in the balmy summer months or wrap up warm and wander along the sands to West Runton in the cooler months. Sheringham is a thriving seaside resort on the popular north Norfolk coast that has something to offer all year round: the beach, sea fishing, golf, a Museum, a leisure centre, its own Little Theatre and the National Trust's Sheringham Park are just some of the local attractions. This is also a great part of the coast to explore for nature lovers; with the coastal path close by, the bird centre at Cley-next-the-Sea and the seal colony at Blakeney Point. The famous Poppy line Railway in Sheringham will take you to the lovely town of Holt with its mix of art galleries, shops, cafes and pubs. The Poppy line also holds a number of events throughout the year, including the hugely popular 1940’s weekend. The mainline train to Norwich gives access to the cultural delights of the city, which makes for a great day out.

We found Pebble Cottage to be a lovely, cosy cottage in the heart of Sheringham. The cottage was pristine when we arrived, and it is furnished, and equipped, to a very high standard with every comfort in mind. The location gives easy access to the town (2 mins walk) and the seafront. There are places to eat and drink close by and well stocked food shops on the high street. Super cottage - really well equipped with everything you need. Cosy and comfortable. Very clean. Great beds. Lovely big towels. Even though parking has to be thought about it isnt an issue and well worth the effort. We always found somewhere to park nearby but would have happily paid the 34 for weekly car park ticket if necessary. Our second stay Read moreand just as good as the first time. Pebble cottage is in a fabulous location tucked away in a side road a stones throw from the high street and sea. There is plenty of crockery and cutlery and the kitchen implements are many and varied! All areas of the cottage are spotless and the beds very comfortable. The owners have ensured that guests have plenty of information about the appliaRead morences and the procedures for leaving the property are clear and precise. This is an exceptional cottage which has been renovated to a very high standard and is extremely well equipped. A great deal of thought and effort has obviously gone into providing the best possible experience for guests. I honestly cannot fault it and recommend it highly.

This is our second stay at Pebble cottage and still as good as ever. Only downside was that the fridge/freezer wasnt working so we didnt have the use of the fridge for a week. Only a small problem. Otherwise excellent

Clean, comfortable and well equipped cottage, decorated to a high standard. Good location for access to beaches in Sheringham but there is no on street parking as suggested by the website - nearest car park is a 5 minute walk away.

Everything about the cottage was super. A great deal of thought and care had obviously been put into its initial refurbishment and setting up as a self catering property. Everything was of an excellent quality, it was warm and welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. We found the instruction manual and cottage information very helpful asRead more well as the selection of brochures, leaflets and books about the area. There was no issue with stopping to unload or pack up the car on the road outside and we easily found free parking on Cliff Road, a short walk from the cottage. What a fabulous place to stay, very warm and comfortable and a great location and lovely that it was decorated for Christmas. Absolutely love Pebble Cottage. The renovation on the cottage was superb, to a very high standard. This was our 2nd visit, and was just as good as the 1st, would def go back. Very comfortable and suited our needs, and the location was spot on.
