Sheringham is a thriving seaside resort on the popular north Norfolk coast that has something to offer all year round: the beach, sea fishing, golf, a Museum, a leisure centre, its own Little Theatre and the National Trust's Sheringham Park are just some of the local attractions. This is also a great part of the coast to explore for nature lovers; with the coastal path close by, the bird centre at Cley-next-the-Sea and the seal colony at Blakeney Point. The famous Poppy line Railway in Sheringham will take you to the lovely town of Holt with its mix of art galleries, shops, cafes and pubs. The Poppy line also holds a number of events throughout the year, including the hugely popular 1940’s weekend. The mainline train to Norwich gives access to the cultural delights of the city, which makes for a great day out.
