Great location - just across from The Anchor & a few minutes walk to the Black Dog Deli & The Bell Inn. Very comfortable & well equipped property with spacious rooms. An amazing library of books - such an eclectic range including dictionary & thesaurus! Appreciated having a dedicated parking space round the back of the property.

Were regular visitors to Walberswick and know the village very well. Lane End is well-positioned in the centre of the village with easy access to the beach, shops and pub. The house is comfortable and easy to live in and an ideal base for exploring this part of the Suffolk coast. The property fronts onto the road so there is some noise but we didntRead more find it intrusive. It was great to have a private parking space as on-road parking in the village is limited. Hide

Whilst the accommodation is comfortable and of a relatively high standard, there seems to be a lack of maintenance checks (downstairs shower needs repairing or replacing). Unable to receive have any BBC channels on the television, there is no radio anywhere within the property, and only one small wall-clock! The microwave oven is not located withinRead more the kitchen area. (it is inappropriately connected to an electric socket in a hallway cupboard!!) Overall, my wife and I found the shortcomings extremely disappointing. In the circumstances this accommodation represents poor value for money. Hide

Good location and upstairs lounge especially lovely to spend time in. We didnt find it straight away ( no house name or number) but it is virtually opposite the Anchor Pub - which is also a good place to go.

It was a wonderfully comfortable cottage, good beds and so beautifully furnished and equipped. It was really the best place I have ever stayed in. I have been coming up to Walberswick since childhood, and then with my late husband and our children and since then grandchildren too. My friend and I had the most amazing time although the weather wRead moreas mixed and the owner sorted out a problem we had immediately and it was great to meet him and to know a little more of the history of how Lane End was built. I hope very much to come again soon! Hide
