Dreams is a beautifully presented newly refurbished holiday home with hot tub, backing onto open fields yet within 2 miles of the seaside resort town of Woolacombe. This three bedroom property is ideally situated in a tranquil area and within few minutes drive from all local shops, pubs and restaurants. A short 400yrd walk through the fields will bring you to the local Inn and nearby convenience store.  Dreams offers accommodation for six people in three bedrooms all with fitted wardrobes and one with ensuite shower room. It’s an ideal base for families or couples looking to enjoy all that this fabulous part of North Devon has to offer. The beautiful sandy beach of Woolacombe is within two miles - get ready for a sandcastle competition with your little ones! The village also offers great family friendly pubs and restaurants or for a change of pace the picturesque village of Mortehoe offers two lovely pubs with restaurants, shops, heritage centre, rocky coves and access to miles of scenic coastal and inland walks, perfect for both casual or more experienced walkers.

The property has been decorated and furnished to a high standard with everything you will need for a lovely stay near the coast. Being on one level the property is well suited to anyone with mobility issues. The hot tub is a great addition to this already stunning home from home and guests will be wanting to return year after year.

Accommodation is all on one level;  

Kitchen: Fully fitted kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, double oven, hob and air fryer. Door to garage with Table tennis table, dart board and washing machine/tumble dryer, further outside courtyard area.

Dining/Lounge area: Dining area with table with six chairs and living area with 3 piece suite, 65" Smart TV and coffee table. Door to Conservatory with three lounge chairs and outside rattan furniture.

Bedroom 1: Super King size bed, with ensuite shower room, bedside tables with lamps, dressing table, stool and Smart TV. 

Bedroom 2: Zip & Link Super King bed (can be made into Twin on request), dressing table, stool bedside tables and Smart TV. 

Bedroom 3: Bunk beds with bedside table, Smart TV and chest of drawers.

Bathroom: Bath with shower over bath, W.C, hand basin and towel rail. 

Garden: Fully enclosed lawned garden with patio area with six piece dining rattan set, picnic bench and two sun loungers. Hot tub located at bottom of garden.

Parking: Private driveway parking for 3 cars available.

Security Deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £250, which is payable to Marsdens Devon Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.

Power & Heat: Gas and Electricity included.

We spent a week at Dreams with our two spaniels. This is a lovely property in a superb location with a very safe and secure garden. The welcome pack was good with a very flavoursome apple and cinnamon cake. What lets this property down is: - The blind in the kitchen is hanging off at one end as the bracket has come off the wall. The oven shelvesRead more were disgusting covered in grease and dirt - we immediately put them in the dishwasher at a high temperature. This removed most of the grease, but the inside of the oven still needs a good clean The washing machines soap dispenser is black with dirt and old soap as is the door seal. The shower screen in the main bathroom leaks underneath so when you have a shower the floor gets flooded. All three of us used the ensuite after this. The hoover really stinks when you use it, we had to open all the windows to get rid of the smell. After that we just swept the floor. The rubbish bin in the front garden was full to the brim so when we wanted to put our rubbish in, the lid would not close and consequently kept coming open in the high winds we had that week. The mattress protector in the back bedroom (the one with the en-suite) had blood stains on it some looked new and one looked old. The mattress has several stains one is very large. The duvet has a hole in it, so when we stripped the bed at the end of our stay the feathers flew everywhere. We only noticed these issues when we stripped the bedding at the end of our stay. It made my skin crawl to think I had slept in that bed. The cleaning company have responded to some of these issues and stated they will be actioned. However previous guests had mentioned some of these in the guest book but these had not been actioned when we stayed. These issues have been reported to Holiday Cottages and the owner. Hide

On arrival we found the property unclean and messaged the caretaker who sent someone round but they only seemed to clean up the dead insects in the conservatory. We had left a tissue with a large dead beetle on top of it on the dining table and this was still there after the cleaner had been (numerous references to the property not being clean in tRead morehe guest book). The main bedroom smelt very 'doggy'. We purchased air fresheners and stripped and washed the bedding. The duvet had a rip in it where feathers were coming out. There were four lots of dog poop in the garden. This issue is also mentioned numerous times in the guest book. The front door is very old and has two different locks which are sometimes hard to open. We couldn't get the key to fit into the lock to open the back door, which could be classed as a fire hazard. On the plus side, the property is conveniently located to visit Woolacombe and Ilfracombe. Another plus, it appears to be wheelchair friendly with ramps to the front and leading from the conservatory, wide doorways and all on exactly the same level. Hide

A comfortable well equipped cottage in a quiet part of Woolacombe. A few basics provided on arrival (tea,milk,cake,bread etc) were very welcome. Hot tub a nice luxury after a day walking on the hills

Absolute beautiful place to stay. So quiet and peaceful. Beach was a short drive away. My dogs absolutely loved the big secured garden.

Lovely property, very comfortable and provided for all our needs. We all enjoyed our stay at Dreams and will be going back if at all possible. Bungalow is situated in a lovely quiet spot.in a great location. Would definately recommend to friends and family.

We enjoyed our stay the layout is good , it was clean and very comfortable. I would suggest you take all you need for supper and your first breakfast as the cupboards were bare !

Lovely comfortable house in a great location. Beach close by. A very well maintained hose and garden. We would stay there again.
