Snettisham is a village of character and has plenty to offer both families and friends holidaying in this delightful corner of Norfolk. Visit the local pubs in the village, the award-winning Rose & Crown serves great food and another popular eatery is The Old Bank; named in The Good Food Guide 2018 as Best Local Restaurant and in 2019 it was listed in the Michelin Guide so best to book ahead! If sailing is your passion, then Snettisham has a very active sailing club. The wide-open spaces that the coastline enjoys are the setting for some of the most spectacular sunsets and aside from Snettisham itself, the resorts of Heacham, Hunstanton and Brancaster are all within easy reach. Take a stroll along the sea front at Hunstanton to the pretty village of Old Hunstanton with soft sandy dunes to explore against a backdrop of softly decorated beach huts; and pop into The Mariner to refuel which has the most spectacular views of the sea from the garden. Ornithologists will enjoy the proximity to the RSPB Reserves of both Snettisham and Titchwell. For the history buffs, the elegant houses of Holkham Hall, Sandringham and Houghton Hall are well worth a visit. There is also a deer park and safari to discover at Snettisham Farm and the delights of Norfolk Lavender can be enjoyed at Heacham.

Stunning location, close to great pubs and attractions. Cottage was well equipped, clean and comfortable. It was a real home away from home for our holiday.

Delightful relaxing house in a quiet village. Beautifully furnished internally, with comfortable beds and seating in the lounge. A kitchen with every utensil you could need and a secluded courtyard, ideal for a relaxed breakfast or for a BBQ. Enjoyed our stay very much, would certainly come back...

We had a lovely stay at Dutch house with our 3 month old and 3 dogs. I had seen a review suggesting may not be good for dogs or babies due to noise from the restaurant next door. We slept with the windows open and didnt have any issues with noise. We stayed Monday - Friday so perhaps it is noisier over the weekend but for us was fine. The courtRead moreyard garden was ideal for our three dogs. The walls and gate are a good 6ft high. There is a small gap under the gate, but we just moved the bins infront of this so our escape artists couldnt succeed! The cottage was well equipped and is in a great location being just minutes walk away from the shop and pubs. Parking was ideal being right infront of the door. We did have an issue with an alarm going off, but the owner came straight out to resolve this nice and quickly. Hide

The stair carpet had stains on every step, luckily we had a rainy day so I cleaned them. Also it would of been lovely if the courtyard wasn't full of weeds. The rest was lovely. Thankyou.christine

A spacious and comfortable quirky cottage right in the heart of the village, just a few steps from the pubs, the restaurant and the shop. All the rooms are a good size and interestingly furnished. The courtyard is a suntrap first thing in the morning and in the afternoon too. We were grateful for the large umbrella providing shade! The Dutch House is lovely. Well provisioned. Beautiful inside, good parking. Location of the house is central to amenities but it's right next to the Old Bank restaurant. The small patios back onto each other. Can get quite noisy until late (midnight) with music, partying and general restaurant noise. If you have a baby/small child, you need to geRead moret to sleep or a noise reactive dog, it potentially could be an issue. The Village itself is lovely. Co-op food store 2 minutes walk. Good location from which to visit all the local sights and beaches. Hide
