We were celebrating a family 60th birthday and it was the perfect place to do it. The place itself was very clean and comfortable and we made use of the great outdoor space and spacious lounge for fun evenings together. We did a couple of walks from the cottage and would highly recommend walking to Hardraw to see the falls and have lunch at The GreRead moreen Dragon. A lovely cottage in a charming, peaceful location! Hide

A beautiful, well-equipped and spotlessly clean cottage in the midst of gorgeous scenery. We thoroughly enjoyed our few days walking on the local fells and to Hardraw Force. Hawes is a welcoming small town and the tour of the Wensleydale Creamery was really good too.

Mary End is a beautiful characterful cottage in a very quiet private location, it is spacious, warm and comfortable. We loved the stone flagged floors and the fixtures and fittings were very good quality. The kitchen is well equipped with a nice seating area. Beautiful view from upstairs bedroom. Plenty of secure outdoor space if you bring a dog. Read more You can park outside the property to load and unload, but you have to park the car not far up the road, but it's on an incline which is fine if you have no walking difficulties. We enjoyed our holiday very much. Hide

Our second, and certainly not last, visit to this beautiful cottage. Spotlessly clean and comfortable, so convenient for many places but in such a tranquil spot with such a welcoming small community.

This is lovely cottage in a lovely position for exploring the Dales. Great walk into Hawes from the door. Cottage is clean and comfortable. The mattresses were really comfortable and we slept well. Lots of really great places to visit close by. We had good weather, but I'm sure it would be a good place to stay, even if the weather was less clement

Cottage was lovely, very clean, comfortable and well equipped, and in a great location. So thats a 9 out of 10. Private parking would make it a 10 but had to leave the car quite a way up the village so loses one point for that. Found the company (Ingrid Flute) booking T&Cs a little annoying, with slightly unexpected extra charges added to base Read morecost, didnt like the late (5pm) check in time which is unhelpful when youve had a long journey, and found stripping the beds and bagging it all up , plus mandatory separate bags for the towels, all a bit of a faff when you have to leave by 10am. Could understand some of that during Covid perhaps but now just for their convenience, and not great for the visitors experience. Hide
