Harbourside Apartment 2 is a stunning Four Star Gold property overlooking Whitby harbour and is a total new build, completed in 2021, with new kitchen, bathrooms, fittings and furnishings. This lavish and spacious property is modern and tastefully decorated to a high standard. With plenty of space in the living area and two good sized bedrooms, the master with a modern en-suite, you will love staying here, the interior only bettered by the fantastic views of the harbour and out to sea.  It would be easy to spend hours watching the boats sail by from the perfectly placed seats in the bay windows.

Harbourside Apartment 2 can be rented in conjunction with Harbourside Apartment 3 (on the third floor), which has one double bed and a bed settee, should you require more space.  Please see details for Harbourside Apartment 3.

On the south side of the harbour only minutes from the 199 steps which take you up to the historic Whitby Abbey the location is perfect to explore the old town of Whitby and take in the numerous bars and restaurants. Whitby is a very popular seaside town retaining old world character and has lots of events throughout the year. Whatever your interests there is something for everyone in the locality, historic castles, even older abbeys, museums, farms, walking, cycling, superb local markets with the very best Yorkshire produce.

GROUND FLOOR PRIVATE ENTRANCE

Entrance Door: Enter into hallway leading to stairs. Take the first flight up then turn and the next stairs take you to the door of the apartment, on the second floor.

Enter into the apartment hallway: 
Two steps down and then three steps up to the living area
Open Plan Kitchen/Lounge/Diner:
 Spacious well-equipped kitchen with contemporary units and granite work surfaces. Built in electric oven and five ring gas hob with hood over, integrated dishwasher and washer dryer, microwave and fridge freezer.  There is a beautiful glass fronted cabinet housing all the crockery. There are lovely views towards the swing bridge through the kitchen window. This area has a tiled floor and leads onto the large lounge dining area with wooden floor. The corner sofa is ideal for relaxing after a day out sightseeing or sit on one of the chairs placed in the bay ideal to look out over the harbour. There is a large screen Smart TV set in a modern shelving unit and a lovely coffee table.
Sit down at the large table with six chairs to enjoy a meal and make plans for the next day.
Hallway leading to;
Master Bedroom: King-size bed with ornate wall lanterns over and bedside cabinets. Here you will find plenty of storage in the shape of a large chest of drawers, a dressing table with stool and mirror and a built in wardrobe,
Ensuite: Shower cubicle with thermostatic rain head shower, a wall hung vanity wash basin with mirror over and WC.
Bedroom 2: King-size bed with wall lanterns and small round chest of drawers as individual bedside cabinets. There is a fitted wardrobe and a lovely dressing table and stool.
House Bathroom: Here you will find a luxury bathroom with a shower bath and thermostatic rain head shower over, wall hung vanity basin and WC.

Pets: Sorry no pets.
Parking: Scratch cards are provided for on street parking within the designated zones on the West Cliff 10 minutes walk away. This is on a first come first served basis.
Heating: Gas central heating.
Short breaks: Not accepted at peak times.
Notes: Towels provided. Unlimited Wi-Fi is available free of charge. No smoking at this property. Mobile phone signal is strong.

Lovely apartment with fabulous views of the harbour. Very comfortable and well equipped for eating in as there are some great options nearby for buying fresh seafood and fantastic steak from Landers. Plenty of great bars and restaurants nearby and there is a great variety of independent shops. Location is ideal for a weeks holiday.

My family and myself spent a truly wonderful week staying at the stunning Harbourside 2 in Whitby. Everything was just perfect, from the location being right at the heart of the old town, to the breathtaking harbour views (I could spend hours just sitting watching the boats & people come and go). The interior design was really beautiful too, modernRead more but cosy. If you are looking for somewhere really special to stay in Whitby, this must hands down be up there with the very best, you could not get a better place if you tried! Lastly, from booking the holiday, to leaving, Ingrid Flute's Cottages were faultless & thoroughly professional throughout. A well deserved 10/10, five stars+ Hide

We loved the property, very central so noise expected, en suite shower had no cold water control which was awful in hot weather, coffee cups and machine or cafetire needed, cushions on beds needed, otherwise splendid

Dining table needed cleaning as did the crockery ,front of the doors / drawers underneath sink in kitchen were splashed with I dont know what , the rug in the lounge could do with a clean , cant comment on the appliances as we only used the microwave and kettle , other than that the apartment is decorated and furnished to a very high standard iRead moren a lovely location and yes we would use again .
