Baugh Fell View is a stylish newly converted barn set in the scenic landscape of Garsdale, just six miles from Hawes. This luxury attached two-bedroom conversion is light and airy with an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, boasting a wood-burning stove, stone floors and oak fittings. A particular feature of this property is its setting amid the beautiful countryside of Upper Wensleydale with breath-taking views of Garsdale and the surrounding fells. This secluded base is an ideal retreat for visitors to enjoy the Dales, especially walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. The woodland opposite the conversion boasts red squirrels and a host of birdlife.

Garsdale Railway Station, on the famous Settle-Carlisle line, is within easy walking distance.

GROUND FLOOR

Kitchen:  The fitted kitchen has an oak worktop, fridge, separate freezer, oven with induction hob, washing machine, dishwasher and ceramic sink.

Lounge/Dining area: A sofa and wingback chairs face the woodburning stove and a smart TV served by full-fibre broadband with Netflix included. The dining area sits four around a traditional farmhouse table.

Cloakroom: WC and basin.

FIRST FLOOR:

Bedroom one: King-sized bed with oak frame, bedside tables and lights and oak wardrobe.

Bedroom two: Two oak frame single beds, bedside tables, lights and oak wardrobe. The room has an en-suite walk-in shower room with WC and basin.

Shower room: There is a tiled walk-in shower room with WC and basin.

Outside area: A side gate leads to a small outdoor seating area that has stunning views of Baugh Fell and the valley of Garsdale.  

Parking: Private off-road parking next to the property or on-road in front of the property.

Heating: A wood-burning stove and central heating.

Notes: Bed linen & towels are provided. No smoking and no pets are allowed at this property. Unlimited WiFi is available free of charge. Mobile phone signal is variable. Beautiful cottage very well presented with lots of local books , maps and Information.Fully equipped kitchen meant cooking in wasnt a problem. Comfortably furnished and the advantage of a log burner for those chilly days where you want a cosy evening in. Ideally situated for visiting the local area with only a short 3-4 minute walk to the local raiRead morelway station which we used to explore Ribblehead viaduct. Hide

This cottage is so comfy and well equipped, and its position near Garsdale station gives the option of visiting other places on the famous Settle-Carlisle line. We would definitely visit this beautiful part of the Yorkshire Dales again.

Well equipped and comfortable cottage in a really peaceful location. Some pleasant local walks to enjoy and only a few hundred yards from the Train Station if you want to use the Settle to Carlisle line. We only had a brief stay but it was thoroughly enjoyed and we would definitely stay in this cottage again.
