Nestled away in a quiet Suffolk hamlet surrounded by rolling fields and footpaths, The Cart Lodge is the perfect escape to the country in this delightful rural setting.
This countryside bolthole, for up to four people, has undergone a complete transformation from a former farm cart lodge to a comfortable and cosy, single-storey, self-catering cottage. You are welcomed into a bright and modern open plan kitchen and living room. French doors lead out into the main garden where you can enjoy a glass of wine (or two), a BBQ and alfresco dining, while enjoying the fabulous views across the paddocks and beyond. The smallholding is set within 15 acres and from the garden you can wander the grounds where you can say hello to the resident alpacas, horses and chickens.
Two comfortable bedrooms, one with king size bed and sitting area, the smaller with a double bed, offer a relaxing night’s sleep and the perfect getaway after a day exploring the local and wider area of the Waveney Valley. We are sure you will love The Cart Lodge as much as we do for your next Suffolk stay.
