What we love about this property? Modern, luxurious and with the wow factor throughout. Every little detail has been thought of to create the most spectacular space for families or friends to enjoy. Not only that, it is under a minutes’ walk from the sandy Southwold shores and only 5 minutes’ walk from the town centre.

GROUND FLOOR

Entrance Hall: bright and spacious entrance with ample storage space for shoes, coats and beach things!
Open Plan Kitchen/Sitting/Dining Room: Stunning room with sliding doors opening out across this large room and leading out onto the decked terrace garden. Kitchen: bespoke built kitchen comprising of antique zinc worktops, fully integrated high-quality appliances including: dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, microwave, Grohe boiling water mixer tap. Large gas Rangemaster cooker with gas rings, Nespresso coffee machine, and ample cupboard space. Roberts DAB portable radio. Dining Area: a large table seating up to 8 guests with pendant lights above. Sliding doors connect this space with the external raised terrace area. Sitting Area: comfortable seating, large 75 inch wall mounted Smart TV. Bluetooth music speaker system. A third set of sliding doors lead out to the raised terrace.

Family Bathroom: with freestanding bath, large separate walk-in shower, WC, basin and heated towel rail.

Outside: raised decked terrace area with large garden dining table and chairs for 8 guests. There is also a lower patio area with deckchairs. Enclosed lawned area. Full size gas BBQ. Marshland views beyond.
Parking: space in private driveway for 2-3 cars. There is also parking available nearby (over the road in public unrestricted car park spaces for the beach, and a short distance away there are unrestricted spaces off Gardener Road.)

Southwold Denes - Southwold Denes stretches from Gun Hill to the harbour's mouth and acts as a vital sea defence for the town. Suffolk Coasts and Heaths are working with several agencies to restore and maintain the area. And a very important area it is. It is the home of skylarks and little terns (please be careful not to disturb the nests) and the habitat of sea holly, sea pea and bird's foot trefoil to name a few. Our properties here enjoy the sunrise over the sea and stunning sunsets over the marshes.

An excellent property with a wealth of facilities and comfort. We stayed for a winter break and, even though the weather was cold, we were warm with good background heating. The location is close to the beach for bracing walks (in the winter!) and there is good parking for 2 cars.

The Saltings is one of the nicest holiday homes we have stayed in. The location was just perfect. The bedroom sizes more or less equal which is always a bonus for 4 adult couples. The view over the marshes was superb.
