Fishermen still pull their colourful boats up on the shingle beach and sell fresh fish from the picturesque huts. The wide, mainly Georgian high street has many attractive buildings whilst the seafront properties all have commanding views of the beach and the North Sea. Boating is popular on the nearby Alde estuary where a large variety of yachts can be seen at summer weekends. Aldeburgh is also home to one of the oldest golf clubs in Suffolk and has the added benefit of two courses which is perfect for visitors of the local area.

Midsomer house had everything that we needed. Beds were comfortable, towels were good quality, bathrooms had decent showers. Great to have off street parking within that location.

A cosy property. A little on the small side in terms of comfortable seating but in warmer weather less of a problem as outdoor seating provided. I was surprised the beds were standard doubles - I consider this small as most places have king size beds these days.

This house is in a great location (especially for the Cross Keys and chip shop!) and the parking space is a great stress reducer! We stayed for Christmas and had plenty of room for our family of four and a dog. The garden must be an added bonus in sunnier months.
