This wonderful property is the ideal place to relax and enjoy a holiday by the sea, it comes with the rare offering of a PRIVATE PARKING SPACE. The owners have decorated and furnished this property with style and care to make a comfortable home from home with everything you will need to spend quality time with friends or family.  From the modern, spacious kitchen dining area to the cosy living room and upstairs to the four bedrooms this house is a great place to return to after a long day walking round historic Whitby only a short distance away. Or why not climb the hill to the Historic Abbey and treat yourself to a walk down the 199 steps to the cobbled streets of the old fishing town.  Further afield are the wonderful North York Moors National Park with plenty of walking or biking trails.

GROUND FLOOR:

Entrance: Once up the steps to the front door you are welcomed into the hallway of this beautiful holiday home
Lounge:
This bright comfortable room is perfect to return to after a long day sight-seeing. The two modern sofas and feature chair provide comfy seating for all. There is a coffee table and a nest of tables, feature standard lamp and table lamp. On cool night cosy up in front of the gas flame effect fire and watch the large screen Smart TV.
Kitchen/Diner: The spacious kitchen diner is very well equipped and boasts modern units and tiled splashback.  You will find a fridge/freezer, gas hob with hood and integrated electric oven with grill, a dish washer and a microwave. With patio doors out to the rear, plenty of room for the table and four chairs and bench the dining area in a lovely place to share a meal.
Staircase:  To the First Floor

FIRST FLOOR

Bedroom One: An elegantly furnished room with a king size bed and two bedside cabinets with lamps.  You will also find plenty of storage with a upcycled dressing table with stool and mirror and a single wardrobe. On the wall is a Smart TV
Bedroom Two: Again a king size bed with two bedside cabinets and lamps. In this room is a delightful tall chest of drawers and built-in wardrobe.  Perfectly situated for getting ready for a night out is a luxury full size ornate wall mirror.
Bedroom Three: The single bed in this room uses a stylish chair as a bedside table with a feature lighthouse lamp. There is built in wardrobe space and a shelf with mirror above and a wicker chair.
Bedroom Four: The second single bedroom has a single bed with upcycled bedside cabinet and lamp, a chair and alcove clothes hanging space.
Bathroom: The bathroom has a panelled bath with electric shower over, plus an ornate shower attachment to the taps, great for washing hair or sandy feet. There is a wash hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.

OUTSIDE

Outhouse:  To the rear is a brick-built outhouse where you will find the washing machine and tumble dryer, and also a couple of deck chairs for your use. There is room here for the storage of bikes or fishing equipment.
Rear garden: Through the patio doors is a decked area set with a bistro table and two chairs. Further on up the garden with its lawned area and colourful flower beds is another decked area with a table and six chairs, great for alfresco dining. There is a lovely new Summerhouse with soft seating and decking area ideal for Summer drinks or food. Also situated nearby is a modern chiminea.

Extremely clean accommodation. Everything worked as it should. 10 minute walk to town centre and Abbey. The kitchen had plenty of cooking equipment which included an air fryer. It was nice to relax in the Summer house.

Nice property, well presented and maintained. Single off road parking, not too far to walk into town. Well enclosed tidy garden, ideal for our young dog. Well equipped kitchen, smart TV's, welcome pack. Enjoyable stay. Only downside is only one bathroom/toilet, if property fully occupied might be inconvenient, was fine for two of us.

Lovely property. Very well equipped and very clean and comfortable. Close to the Abbey and about a 10 minute walk into Whitby centre. Downhill into town but save your energy for the uphill walk back to the cottage. A very enjoyable weekend with friends and family.

Lovely house! There was everything you could possibly wish for and so clean! Kitchen is really well stocked with equipment and bedrooms are comfy. Wonderful garden house to get away from folk if needed. About 5 minutes walk from Whitby Abbey and stunning views.
