Very roomy cottage, well equipped and in a great location to explore the Peak District and Kinder Scout in particular. The games room with snooker table, table tennis and table football was really welcome. There are several walks straight from the cottage. The owner was very welcoming and we really enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed a great stay at Churn Barn at the end of August 2024 to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary with our family. The accommodation slept 8 comfortably and is in a fantastic location for walking. We ate at the Old Hall Inn nearby and it was excellent. We also had a great BBQ and cooked pizzas on our own portable oven in the garden. We enjoRead moreyed having the games room and plenty of room to spread out too. Owner Stacey was very friendly and helpful. When I mentioned that we planned to have a family BBQ she generously provided a new one so we didn't have to bring our own. We would certainly recommend Churn Barn for a family get-together like ours. Hide
