Very comfortable cottage. Very friendly pub. Despite Moneyash being a meeting point for bikers it is not a noisy village. Nor are bikers a problem on local roads. We were very positively surprised at this.

Well equipped, a few tweaks to make it even more comfortable. Good social space. Whilst the twin rooms are a little cosy it is outweighed by having all bedrooms en-suite plus a downstairs cloakroom. The only downside for us was the 9 oclock departure as our average age was 75 and we had a few challenges! The local pub less than a minute away serveRead mores good food but their portions are huge. They get busy so good to know they do takeout. The cottage is central for visiting the area with many places not too far away, for instance Bakewell is a 10 minute drive. For a family group or a group of friends it is a welcoming home but for our group we would not book again because of the departure time. Hide
