The Hayloft has been carefully created out of a mellow stone hay loft above a barn in the midst of the sleepy little hamlet of Snitterton. Its dramatic vaulted ceilings, attractive decoration, comfortable furniture and fittings, quality bed linen and towels, together with its wonderful setting in a secret little valley make it a really great holiday retreat.
Hidden away in beautiful Wensley Dale, locations don't come much better than this. There are superb views across the valley on all the lovely walks from the cottage. Matlock, with all its county town facilities is just five minutes’ drive over the hill.
Don't forget to visit nearby Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and the Peak Steam Railway. Other treats include Calver Edge's breathtaking views, Monsal Dale's wonderful waterfalls and the 'little Switzerland' of Matlock Bath. Make sure you get back in time for a drink on the little patio.
