Jaret House is a real gem of a holiday retreat in the centre of picturesque Tideswell, in the heart of the Peak District. The house has attractive decoration, comfortable furnishings and a wood burning stove, a spacious lounge, dining room, breakfast kitchen and four en suite bedrooms.
Tideswell boasts a range of local shops, a small supermarket, cafes, fish and chip shops, great pubs and its impressive Church - the 'Cathedral of the Peak', all within easy walking distance of the house. Walks and cycle ways radiate in all directions, out across the Peaks where the views are fantastic or along leafy Water Cum Jolly Dale, where the river Wye splashes down the valley.
There are some excellent towns, villages and attractions within easy reach: Buxton with its famous Opera House, Bakewell, famed for its puddings, Castleton with its Blue John caverns, picturesque Great Hucklow where colourful para-gliders float by, and the many attractions of the Chatsworth Estate, to mention but a few.
