Cosy cottage but plenty big enough for 2 couples, a family of 4 and a dog! Clean, comfortable and great location in the middle of Tideswell. Straightforward communication and arrangements with owner. We had a great time, thank you.

Jaret house is an extremely comfortable house in the heart of a brilliant village. You couldn't ask for a better location to explore the Peak District. Everyone in the village was friendly and the owner was excellent to deal with. Top marks from the whole family.

We have had a wonderful week in Tideswell. The house was very clean, comfortable, with excellent facilities. It is a great location for walking and travelling around. Tideswell has everything you need. Shop, bakery and pubs too. It was our first visit to Derbyshire and I thought it was beautiful.

A great location for exploring the central and southern Peak District. Tideswell is just big enough to have a choice of places to eat out but small enough to be an authentic Derbyshire village. The house itself is well fitted out with the bedrooms cleverly fitted with individual shower/bathrooms. We spent little time in the house which was tidy andRead more superficially clean but thought it would benefit from an occasional deep clean. There were lots of Board games and a large TV; a music system would have enhanced the entertainment for those who spent more time in the house. But overall, the house was lovely and we would happily recommend it to anyone. Hide

The cottage was not as clean as it could have been, it was very dusty and we had two people who had to use their inhalers while away. The photos are deceptive, they make the bedrooms look bigger than they are. One of the rooms has no cupboard to hand clothes and so we lived out of a suitcase the whole week.

We all really enjoyed our stay at Christmas. The only thing missing is a downstairs toilet and with younger children we felt the stairs would have been safer carpeted.
