A lovely few days spent at Farm View Cottage. The cottage was well presented, very clean and with all we needed for our break. It's location in Parwich was excellent for great bike rides and walks from the doorstep and the village itself is really interesting. There's so much to do in the surrounding area too. We had a week stay this April and can honestly say loved every minute of our stay at this cottage. It was perfect for us as a couple. It was comfortable, welcoming and had character. It was great that we could park our small car right outside the front door. We loved sitting in the small terrace garden in the morning and just listening to the birdsRead moreong and taking in the peace and quiet. The owners had thoughtfully provided plenty of walking books and maps of the peak district. Parwich is lovely and we enjoyed walking roung the village and down to the pub. Hide

Very comfortable and well equipped. Nothing forgotten. Only difficulty for us (both into our seventies) was the three story layout , which we knew about. Similarly, as you would expect for a very old cottage some low ceilings. We had a very enjoyable stay and we and our dog were made very welcome at The Sycamore Inn.

We have just come home from a short Christmas break at farm view cottage. We had an amazing time. The city is beautiful and very cosy. The kitchen is a great size and makes you want to spend time in there. Its fully equipped and even had a lovely welcome pack waiting for us. The bathroom is very inviting with the under floor heating! I was unsureRead more about the property being on 3 levels & the lounge on the first floor, but it somehow made it even more cosy. The open fire definitely gave it the Christmas feel that we were after. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Hide

The cottage was 1st class, everything you could need, down to milk in the fridge and a packet of biscuits on arrival. The bathroom/wet room was excellent.

The property was in good condition and overall we enjoyed our stay.. The ground floor bathroom was exceptionally good. However I ham 6 foot tall and I hit my head several times. However, the let was set over 3 floors with 2 flights of stairs to negotiate. I did not know of this until after I had made the payment for it.
