The Old Chapel, previously a mid-19th century Methodist chapel, has been sympathetically converted to accentuate the original features whilst providing a comfortable and relaxing space. Offering a unique experience, The Old Chapel boasts grandeur with a delightful mix of old and new. The restored, original, arched chapel windows and the Scandinavian woodburner form the focal point of the spacious open-plan living area and reflect the chapel's history and illuminate the open plan ground floor, providing a bright and stylish environment. The mezzanine level offers another viewpoint of The Old Chapel where you can sit back and admire the inspired architecture or just relax, enjoy a book and gaze out through the Juliet balcony to the rolling countryside views.

Ideally situated for walking the coast path with close proximity to a range of amazing walks to explore the picturesque coastal scenery on the Penwith Peninsula and the surrounding towns and villages steeped in local history.  The owners of The Old Chapel are keen walkers themselves and have produced a guide to 12 fabulous walks for their guests to try.

Take your pick of the outstanding beaches or enjoy a day walking some of the best stretches of the South West Coast Path in Cornwall. Lovely cottage, very spacious and well equipped. Road wasn't too noisy and a very good location for exploring everywhere. Most places were a 15 to 30 minute drive to any of the coasts. Parking is very tight for a large vehicle like a Range Rover.

Beautiful place! Incredibly chill and wonderful town just a short drive from Penzance. The complimentary tea and scones were such a lovely touch and a warm welcome after a long drive. The landlady at the pub, just a stones throw around the corner, was so friendly and welcoming and the food was good standard pub grub. Bit tricky to find so I recommeRead morend using the what three words to make sure you end up in the right place! Hide

Great, roomy cottage in the center of SW Cornwall. Good base for all kinds of trips. Owners provided a few selfmade very helpfull guides for beaches, walks and pubs. Don't expect a very large parking space or an estate size garden, but if you're okay with that you'll have a great time. We sure did.
