The Boathouse at Little Petherick is a lovely conversion of a period, detached house in a beautiful creek-side setting upriver from Padstow. This characterful property, with its attractive slate-hung elevations, has direct access to the water from the garden and is perfect for those who want to bring along kayaks or paddleboards to explore the waterways. Designed in such a way that most rooms face to the front and enjoy pretty views across the creek. The Saints’ Way footpath passes right by providing good walks from your doorstep and the famous harbour town of Padstow is just a 10 minute drive away, or a 45-60 minute walk down Little Petherick Creek. With easy access to the fantastic north coast sandy beaches this is a perfect base to enjoy the local area.
Set across two levels with a staircase at either end of the house, the four bedrooms and 3 bathrooms provide great facilities for families or friends together. The large kitchen/breakfast room with its cosy Aga feels homely and welcoming. It’s also perfect for drying off outdoor gear and your dog will love curling up in front of it too. The main living room offers two seating areas with a warming wood-burning stove and lots of natural light flooding in through the many feature windows.

Bathroom: Freestanding roll-top bath, his’n’hers basins, WC, heated towel rail.
Bedroom 2: Bunk beds (2’6” – suitable for children only) chest of drawers.
Bedroom 3: Twin beds (3’), bedside units, chest of drawers. (This bedroom has access to both staircases with a door on both sides).
Bedroom 4: Double bed (4’6”), bedside units, chest of drawers, hanging and TV.
Bathroom: Bath with hand-held mixer shower, basin, WC, heated towel rail.
GARDEN & PARKING: Private parking for 2 cars. Enclosed terrace to the front with outdoor dining furniture, charcoal barbecue and views to the creek. Opposite the house is a spacious, enclosed, lawned garden providing direct gated access to the creek and ideal for kayaking and paddleboarding (subject to tides). Electric vehicle charging point available with three-pin electric socket can be used during your stay for £30 per vehicle.
Changeover day: Saturday - arrival 4:00pm - departure 10:00am
Pets Allowed: Max 2 dogs at £25 per pet per week. (please keep downstairs and off the furniture) A third dog may be accepted by prior arrangement.
Power and Heat: Electricity and oil included in rent; oil-fired central heating, wood-burner and Aga. EV car charging available at £30 per vehicle.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided. Please bring your own beach towels.
Baby Equipment: High chair and travel cot, if required
