Pretty cottage in a great location. Near to centre of town and beaches but still quiet. Beware very steep staircase.

This cottage is ideally located just a few minutes walk from the town centre and beach and is well equipped and comfortable (apart from the sofas!). The stairs to the bedrooms are very steep and narrow so it wouldn't be suitable for anyone with even minor mobility restrictions. During our stay the next door neighbours dogs were very loud througRead morehout the night - luckily my dog didn't react. Overall a nice stay. Hide

Great location and lovely outdoor space but needs a deep clean and a bit of TLC. Another property marketed by Holiday Cottages that doesnt quite meet the description or standards youd expect for the costs paid. Perhaps spend some more effort giving the place a good clean than worrying out topping up the sweet jars.

The property itself was lovely, although the stairs up to both floors were very steep so wouldn't recommend for children under the age of 5 years (the twin-bedded room was on the top floor, not ideal for children). The sweets were a lovely touch and gave a nod to the past of the cottage.

A lovely cottage in a great location which is value for money. The stairs are extremely steep, typical of this type of cottage to be taken cautiously. Needs some maintenance but otherwise a lovely location for Whitstable and the surrounding area

We had a lovely 4 day stay at the old sweet shop and would go back again. The location was fantastic, with the beach, shops and restaurants all within a 5-10 minute walk. Our dog loved the enclosed garden! We would highly recommend this place to friends.

A lovely cottage right in the middle of Whitstable. You can walk everywhere from the front door and you can easily park free of charge near the house. All in all a great place to stay. Only thing to be aware of is the Stairs are pretty steep

Property was clean, very well equipped and lovely and warm when we arrived. The sweets were a really lovely touch (apologies one of our party was quite partial to them!!) Beds were comfy, everything in walking distance so well located. Everything seemed to have been thought about a very lovely stay would highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay at the sweet shop. The cottage has everything you would need for a wonderful stay. The steps are very steep so I wouldnt recommend this property to anyone with a disability. Beds are comfortable. Log fire is amazing. Location is great.

Nicely decorated cottage in a very good position. Whitstable is lovely, but parking is a challenge. Very steep stairs but a good handrail so as long as you take care you should be alright. Cottage more suitable size for 4 rather than 6. Fully enclosed garden for the dogs was good.
