Ghyllfoot Apartment is a modern and contemporary apartment situated in the centre of the lovely village of Gunnerside in Swaledale above the Ghyllfoot Tearooms. This well-equipped newly refurbished apartment is both light and airy and cosy too. It has beautiful views of the hills and dales from every window. With an open plan kitchen, diner and lounge and door outside to a large balcony area where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine with views towards the valley and Gunnerside Gill.  This sleek and new Apartment would make an ideal retreat for couples to enjoy the Yorkshire Dales whether you are planning one of the many walks in the area or a visit to the historic castles, museums, farms or browsing one of the superb local markets, the Dales has something for everyone.

As an additional treat Guests staying at Ghyllfoot Apartment can enjoy a 10% discount off all food purchased from the tearoom downstairs.

13 steps up to the first floor, please take care on the last step at the top of the stairs as it is slightly higher than the rest.
Kitchen: Modern kitchen units with a marble affect worktops, Electric oven and hob, toaster, kettle, microwave, built in dishwasher and fridge, and table top freezer,washing machine and plenty of work surface area to prepare a meal.
Lounge/Dining area: Cosy fire and sofas, TV, dining table and chairs for two.
Bedroom area: Relax and lie back taking in the views of the fells in the metal framed double bed with crisp white bedding, hanging storage space for clothes and bedside tables and lights.
Shower room:  A sleek and modern room with large shower cubicle, wash hand basin, toilet and touch light mirror with shaver point.

Parking: Parking on a first come basis in the centre of the village.

The house is perfect. more then enough kitchen equipment. You can call it complete. Good couches, good bed.

Lovely apartment with everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Particularly liked the outside terrace which we managed to use a couple of times when the sun was out. Was lovely to have this outside space. Great location for a few local walks. Would definitely stay again.

Just had our second stay at Ghyllfoot Apartment, which says it all really. Great little place and the location is superb for exploring the North Dales in particular. Highly recommend!

This is a fairly basic accommodation, albeit comfortable, cold as soon as the heaters go off. Small bathroom and bedroom, but clean. Its in a great location, good pub with decent food. The cafe was closed during our visit, so no experience of that.

Ghyllfoot apartment is comfortable and well equipped. It's location in upper Swaledale is perfect for walking and as a centre for exploring the whole of Swaledale and Wensleydale. We had a wonderful relaxing week.

Brilliant holiday. The location of the apartment was excellent. So many walks on your doorstep which meant not moving the car. Parking could have been an issue. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The pub across the road served good food and was welcoming

The location for walking in Swaledale is really excellent. A very comfortable and restful place to stay. And a great tearoom with homemade cakes underneath.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Fabulous walks from the cottage to Gunnerside Gill, Muker, Kidson Force Waterfall. Great pub across the road too and welcoming cafe underneath the apartment. The apartment has a huge roof terrace to relax on ith with fantastic views. The weather was very kind to us. Didn't want to return home

Hondas apartment was very clean and views from every window. It had everything you need to self cater and i can recommend the coffee and Canoes from her face below. We enjoyed our ride on the Swale Trail which we did on our mountain bikes and which you can start from the apartment.

The owner (Linda) runs the tearoom downstairs (times vary) and is very hospitable. She has a keen interest that her guests staying upstairs, feel welcomed and we for sure felt this to be the case. Everything is in place for you to enjoy a very clean and relaxing stay. Its very light and spacious for 2 people and the outside seating area is fine. Read more The nearest large supermarket is in Catterick and Reeth has a general store with limited supplies. Otherwise Richmond would be the nearest large town to shop for essentials. Hide
